The orchestration is chilling me to the bone oh my goodness. I think this version captured the horror of the situation the most for me, from a musical standpoint. It's like... visceral.
Seen it five times from five different seats and it was better and better each time! Emily Lopez as Carrie, Misty Cotton as the mother and Valerie Rose Curiel as Chris.
OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS 😭😭😭😭 I WAS GOING TO SEE THIS BUT MY MOM DIDNT WANT ME TO I REALLY WANNA KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN THIS SCENE OMG
Carrie is crowned Prom Queen but then a bucket of pig's blood is dropped on her. She hallucinates that the students are laughing at her, and in a blind rage, carries out a student massacre.
I saw the visual video of this one (only destruction not full) and it was cool and innovative. But I cannot stand the delivery of "you should have told me" in this. It's so weird its like someone trying to make a SpOOOooOOky voice for a kid. Maybe its just me? I liked everything else though she can sing well.
+MoviesMusicalLover yea I also head that the actors where spitting blood from their mouth. if my school puts on carrie I'm gonna try to make the director do this different kind of deaths and Maybe make the audience apart of the fun by making the house lights flicker and all that.
+Blue_thinks thanks for the videos. I've seen this video too. there's a video of the cast from the LA production visiting this cast during their rehearsals. I think they got the ideas from that production.
The line is "You God-damn freak" at the end. As far as we know, no videos exist because our ushers were very good about looking out for people trying to film. Plus, being in such an intimate venue, it makes it difficult.

I have a question:
Is it beautiful to put Gregorian chants to the "he will burn you" part to make it more sinister yet powerful at the same time?
that would sound awesome!!

Oh no I mean at the end when she cries out billy name she says "you freak" but she says a word between that.
