Ma'am can I directly apply for AHPRA registration after bachelor of physiotherapy from India? (without doing masters from Australia). Is it easily possible to get job after that and get work visa ( if I am applying from India) or they prefer people who have done masters from Australia/ living in Australia Also how much minimum clinical experience is needed to increase chances of getting work visa directly ? What other courses would be beneficial for the same ?
@@udayabhaskargaddam7334 If that’s the case , there will be quite a few benefits 1. Fees will be much less if already have PR in comparison to international students 2. Getting admission will be easier. Look for top 10 universities offering Bachelors in Physiotherapy (also called Physical Therapy - under Allied health section) in your respective state and depending on what fees range and course content you are looking for you can finalise the course ( PS : Ensure the course you choose is approved by AHPRA - registration body which will give you full registration as physio once you finish the course. Usual duration of the course : 3-4 years)

You will need to apply for jobs and find an employer (who is willing to supervise you and a company who is willing to provide you sponsorship- work visa), AHPRA will give you limited registration (which is a separate process than APC) once you have an interim, IELTS score of 7 and you find an employer who is willing to supervise you (who will also provide you sponsorship visa if you are overseas). Hope I have answered your questions 😊
