Our Honeymoon in Oaxaca City, Mexico

Lyndz and I visit the ancient Zapotec archaeological site, Monte Alban in Oaxaca City. After that, we hire a private tour to take us to one of the only petrified waterfalls on the planet! Can't believe we made it there... so much luck had to happen but it worked!

A petrified waterfall, a silent thrill.
Lindsay and Jon, companions true,
In nature's grasp, a tale to construe.
Waters frozen in a crystal dance,
Mineral whispers, a mesmerizing trance.
Lindsay's laughter echoes, pure and bright,
Jon's steadfast presence, a comforting light.
Through epochs passed, a friendship formed,
In stone and stream, their essence warmed.
Like the waterfall, forever preserved,
In the heart of nature, their bond conserved.
Lindsay, a cascade of joy and grace,
Jon, a rock, a steady embrace.
Together with the petrified cascade,
A timeless trio, in nature's serenade.
In this poetic stasis, forever they reside,
Lindsay, Jon, and the waterfall side by side.
A tableau etched in earth and time,
An ode to friendship, in nature's rhyme.

I didn't even know petrified waterfalls were a thing. I always thought your pictures were at a natural salt pool.
Have you been to Caadxi Oaxaca in Snoqualmie? It's Mexican food but specifically Oaxacan. My parents really like it and order from there often when I visit.
