I’m a left handed sewer but I had to learn to cut with right hand scissors, I found very useful mostly for the hand fatigue the fiskars with a sprint in the middle, because they just open by themselves, so they literally cut the hand work in a half,
Hey,Jen! Your hair really looks nice! I agree with you about the Gingher rotary blade. I love mine and bummed they aren’t making replacement blades. I have saved the used ones. I need to invest in a rotary blade sharpener. Has anyone used the sharpeners? What are your thoughts?
Haven't tried a sharpener myself, but I linked the replacement dupes I found on Amazon in the description box. So far they are pretty good and a lot cheaper!
About the glue … … The question is do you need to rent it out before it totally Bryce, The question is do you need to rinse it out before it totally sets up? Or will it still rinse out after drying?🤔
Use a really blow dryer on a really high wattage to blow heat on the warped spot then sit something heavy and flat on it. Or cover the spot with a thin fabric and iron it first then sit something on it…..

I didn't know that was a company of two sisters. Very neat!
I can testify from my own experience that your glue basting tip is a game changer. I keep one of your bottles on my sewing table all the time.
I have the Quilters Select rotary cutter and their rulers. They are really wonderful and my every day go to notions.
Great suggestions on sewing tools; perfect for the beginner and those of us who have been sewing for a long time!

I have always used left-handed sizzers and just turned 60 this year
Love this post, thank you!
I've never used the washable glue, I was just wondering if the glue gums up your needle. Thanks for sharing all these great ideas Jen.
Nope, as long as it's dry you shouldn't have any issues with Elmer's Washable School Glue.
@@SewingReport Thanks Jen

Why 8:38 you cut with the right hand when you left-handed ? I am left and cut with the Left hsnd
Not really sure why, but I've always been like this! haha
I’m sure Gingher were pushed out of the market because of the cheaper ones available.
