I have two and it's a pen I have to talk myself out of buying in a number of other colours. 😂 The other thing ill say is that the custom grinds and partnerships they have do a great job of bringing nib options to people (like me) who either dont feel comfortable sending their pens to nibsmiths or don't know much about other grinds.
Estie offers an 18K nib, but it costs extra. Its "gold" nibs are gold-colored stainless steel. I own both vintage and modern Esterbrook pens. It is a good brand. The barrel coloration on this pen is variegated.
