This was so inspirational. Back in February of this year, we purchased a beach house. I set up a craft room there a few months ago, and boy am I glad I didn't buy another die cutter yet. This one is so perfect and matches not only the decor theme of our home, but also the color of my craft room as well. I have been waiting for this release and just purchased mine literally 15 minutes ago. Yay!!! I'm so excited, I have been using the cuttle bug for many years and have been waiting for the just the right larger machine. When I saw your video from CHA showing this beauty I knew this was the one! Spellbinders, Jane Davenport and Mermaids what more can a girl ask for!
I just now stumbled across your channel, and seeing your TURQUOISE Spellbinders die cutting machine! OMG, I couldn't hit the subscribe button and the little bell fast enough! That is my favorite color, also. Then once I saw your papers and your turquoise dies, I started having heart palpitations. The dies themselves are gorgeous and the actual designs they cut are even better! I want one of these so bad; I must start saving in earnest! I don't know which rock I must have been living in kept me in the dark as far as hearing about you. What a beautiful artist you are and an even nicer person, I can tell. The die cutting machine is stunning. your designs are amazing. The machine seems to also in addition to being something lovely to look at a very nice die cutter. All of those intricate dies are so beautiful. Your paper is gorgeous also. I have heard such nice things about the Platinum 6 and 8 (?) Is your machine along those same line? Wow. I have had zero interest in die cutting. But this is amazing. Sticker paper is genius, takes away the fiddly glueing that put me off. Well done Jane! I'm converted! The list of wants for the new collection grows longer :-)

Love the color and art work so pretty. Almost wish i needed one. I already have a big shot and big shot plus. In fact I love all your tins with the art work on them. They just are you happy.
Cute cutter and dies! Say, I just saw a video (actually 3 of them) of how to use dryer sheets to get the paper to release and get all or almost all the bits out without having to do much poking. Take 3-4 dryer sheets in a stack, fold in half and after you've passed the die through once lift it and remove the paper that remains and then put down the dryer sheets on the platform and lay the die (with the paper with design stuck in the die) paper side down on the dryer sheet. Pass it through the cutter again and voila - the die cut has released and most of the bits are embedded in the dryer sheet. You can lift them off or rub the sheet and reuse it over and over again - I don't know how many times - I guess until it no longer works - LOL!! Hope that makes sense. I don't remember who I saw do this. I have yet to try it, results may vary!

Hi Jane! This product looks amazing! I've been getting into mixed media art for the past few years. I've been watching a lot of videos, reading books, and practicing. I have a question about how easily it is (on the hands, wrists, fingers) to crank the dies through your machine. I have a chronic pain condition that affects my hands, wrists, and fingers a lot so I don't have a lot of strength in them. Do you think that your machine would work for someone like me? If so, I would be very excited to try it and purchase some of your dies. I am also wondering if you happen to know if dies bought on aliexpress.com would work with this machine as well. On a fixed income, the prices on aliexpress are usually more affordable for me for various craft supplies. Thanks in advance for your advice!
the beautiful Deep Sea Die Cutter operates roughly in the same as all manual die-cutters. Do you have a friend who has one (any brand) you can test, or a scrapbook/papercraft store that you could test on in to see if it suits your hands? Also a little word about Aliexpress - i feel it's choking with copied designs. I know the China-direct sites are cheaper, but that's because many offer stolen designs ( I am speaking from experience here). So the answer is, yes it will work on all of the dies, but for the sake of the designers and manufacturers who support this lovely and fun art form, please be wary of ordering from china-direct sites.

Hmmm....I am wondering if the die cutter would be easier though on my hands than having to "fussy cut" everything. That can be quite a job! I am so sorry to of hear that places like aliexpress.com steal designs from people. That is not nice at all! If I ever see something on their site that I recognize as a copy from some other artist I know, I will definitely not purchase it from them! I did not realize that about those sites! Well, I guess I will keep thinking about whether getting a die cutting machine would be helpful for me in my art and crafting. Art has been a real life saver to me! Is the platform not magnetic? Is that why you used washi to secure the dies?
not magnetic. the washi just holds everything nicely in place.
I use washi when I am die cutting with my other machines. I hardly ever use my magnetic plate. I think it's habit with me
