I think these heater are the best, we tested them for 24 hours, and in that time we had no smoke at all, not even when turned off. Over feeding the fire with oil didn't change it, unlike a gravity fed heaters that turn into a nuclear reactor. No soot, and no ash build up in the bottom of the cylinder except the cardboard that it was lit with, now that the ash isn't there it can be burnt 24/7 for days or months. We notice diesel can smoke in normal waste oil heaters doesn't in these, just changes the colour of the flame more orange. Burns approx. 2.7 litres an hour so best connected to a 44 gallon drum but we could have turned it down, and used less. Noticed the cylinder got hot just by starting it with the meth's. Love it. Drip fed
Looks like it's working very well! The fact that nothing collects on the bottom of the pot is evidence that the bottom of the pot is kept at a high temperature. It is very stable and will be able to extinguish the fire immediately without continuing to smolder after the fuel is shut off. I think it's a very good stove (^^) d

Hi. Can you describe your oil furnace more, what profile, pipe diameter and height. And what fan did you use? You solved the oil-water separator perfectly 🤔🤔💪💪

Any waste oil usually burns blue, but if the water mixed with the waste oil spatters or ash rolls up, it turns reddish, and depending on the type of waste oil, it burns green.
I'd say its because no waste oil is being fed into it..its a drip fed system (gravity fed) and if you look at the line feeding it..it goes down and then has to make almost a 90°bend upwards into the bottom of the pipe..which if you know anything about gravity you'll know that without any pressure behind the oil..anything forcing the oil to move and counteract the forces of gravity..well it would fill the fill pipe back to the funnel...that's why I believe it's so clean...its a decent design and I dont know why a guy would fake it working when changing how its fed would be an easy fix but in my opinion that's what's really going on ..I could be wrong but I'm not
The size of the tube is 50 mm, the variator is made by a manufacturer called matsunaga. images.app.goo.gl/nx5itgX7zv769Efy7 The fan is removed from the kerosene boiler, the manufacturer etc. are unknown, but the air volume is about a hair dryer ..
takes me back to my military days where we used pot bellied heaters in winter that used diesel af the fuel source. combine this with some sort of mass battery and it would be better than putting 90% of your heat right out the stack pipe.
No extra heat is applied to the oil.It will vaporize from the bottom side of the furnace to the bottom through the wall.If the oil line is heated too much, it will cause adverse effects such as carbon generation and clogging, and difficulty in extinguishing the fire.

Well, I've tried a cloudy oil with water, but the firepower is very strong! Will the explosive expansion of water cause the oil to scatter finely? I gave up because I couldn't make a stable and cloudy fuel of the same quality 😅
@@dawlac_dojyo I made a copper tube and connected a medical dropper. In the tube, Steam entered the gorenje, the effect is also good and the dropper is easy to control the supply
The metering pump is good! I used it for the room heater before, but it seems that the waste oil I got was mixed with brake fluid, and the pump part cracked and broke 😩 A tube type pump is good Maybe? I want to control the electromagnetic pump with a timer, hopefully it works 😃
Hello my friend brilliant heater just want to ask you a question please what's the distance from the bottom upto to that square tube and also there are so many holes on that why is that ? Thanking you reply
dawlac dojyo Can you post a video on how to make such a wonderful machine that you have or to see the parts Atsalsal and I thank you with all my heart to help me to protect me from the cold in winter and thank you.
There are no plans for a video, but I'm thinking of creating a new stove for home heating.I want to make things that are quieter, consume less fuel, have stable firepower, and are safe.
Is it about the can at the bottom? That is to remove the moisture contained in the oil. Since the specific gravity is lighter than water, it can be pulled out by attaching a valve at the bottom. Oil mixed with water is extremely dangerous so we sometimes open the valve and drain water.
In the case of my stove, only white ash remains when used on high heat, but when used on low heat, moist charcoal-like substances stick to it, so I poke it with a metal rod to make it fine and vacuum it.
Thanks for your comment! This stove is different from the one made by others, it is very quiet, safe, has less fuel consumption, and can be adjusted to the optimum fire power that can also cook with the top cover.Of course it can also be enough to turn the combustion kiln into red. Please try by all means.
It is not recommended where there is volatile gas, etc., combustion is smokeless at ignition, and when extinguishing fire, it depends on the state of the burning residue on the bottom of the pot, but there is not much smoke.
Blue flame means it has a very good burning temperature. Do you have any idea why is the flame blue? compared to other variants on youtube where the flame is yellow. Is it the air intake?
That is the most important point, I think that the speed at which air is mixed with the flammable gas from the oil boiled at the bottom of the combustion pot is important.
hello, can i have more details ?? how many holes did you make in the bottom of the pipe and what diameter ?? what diameter are the rest of the holes and at what intervals in the order from bottom to top ??? Awesome project !!!!
There are two holes on the bottom, the sides are 40 mm apart from the bottom, and the diameter is 3.2 mm. This size and diameter may change depending on the type of oil, the size of the combustion kettle, the type of fan, etc., so for reference 😃
I haven't measured the temperature, but I think the blue burning part has reached 1000 ° C. However, when it comes to melting aluminum, I think the flame must be focused upwards on one point. I think it is difficult to use a heater with this structure.
I made it somehow, so there is no blueprint, but if it is for off-the-grid, this stove will generate a lot of heat with a little power and waste oil just to turn the fan, so I think it is the best!
Hi Dawlac, the heater i built like yours has turned on me, smokes badly so i'll be removing it. What's the longest you have run yours for, as it looks like a demo heater only not one that operates day in day out. It worked fine for a few weeks now now it smokes I can't use it. I've used 89mm box steel what are you using it looks smaller than that. Anyone else had issues with it.
Both of the blower pipes of my heater are 50mm. It's best to put a flame on the inside of the burning pot, but I think it's better to use a slightly larger pipe like you. My heater is 10 years old this year. Although various improvements have been made to the control method, the combustion section basically uses the same mechanism.
Another issue I found with it is as it's outside, if the lid isn't shut properly the rain gets into it. Which isn't good. Water and oil doesn't mix very well I've found, more than often explodes.
@@firemanjim9025You're right, it's very dangerous because the burning of even a little water gets stronger. The lid of my stove is a thick steel plate and almost the same size as a firewood so it won't distort with the heat of combustion. In addition, the inside is a positive pressure, so there is no blowout when cooking on the lid.
It doesn't burn at the bottom, it just seems to boil and vaporize. Only at the time of ignition, waste oil or kerosene mixed with a small amount of gasoline is added.

hi, can you give me the brand of fan and variator you use, and the diameters of the square tubes to feed the air thank you, great job
The size of the tube is 50 mm, the variator is made by a manufacturer called matsunaga.

The fan is removed from the kerosene boiler, the manufacturer etc. are unknown, but the air volume is about a hair dryer ..

takes me back to my military days where we used pot bellied heaters in winter that used diesel af the fuel source.
combine this with some sort of mass battery and it would be better than putting 90% of your heat right out the stack pipe.
Does that mean using diesel for the casting stove? I heard that diesel has a large calorific value, so it must be an excellent fuel!
Hello , sr warmer the oil before to burner and works beater.
Yes put a oil line close to the combustion chamber
No extra heat is applied to the oil.It will vaporize from the bottom side of the furnace to the bottom through the wall.If the oil line is heated too much, it will cause adverse effects such as carbon generation and clogging, and difficulty in extinguishing the fire.
Whoa. Really cool
Top notch .......... wery nice build

Rozumiem! To przyjemne środowisko do życia! Zachowajmy ten ekonomiczny grzejnik w tajemnicy przed naszymi sąsiadami🤣
Brilliant burner. How did you wire up the variable control for the fan ? How you schematics?
I am using a general-purpose sliding variable resistor 😃
good afternoon , mix the oil with water , you will get an emulsion . The heat will be more intense. Add water to the oil little by little - and mix thoroughly .The effect is good
Well, I've tried a cloudy oil with water, but the firepower is very strong!
The distance from the bottom is about 40mm, and there are many holes to accommodate different oil types and supplies.
Thanks
Very very nice.

Can you post a video on how to make such a wonderful machine that you have or to see the parts Atsalsal and I thank you with all my heart to help me to protect me from the cold in winter and thank you.
There are no plans for a video, but I'm thinking of creating a new stove for home heating.I want to make things that are quieter, consume less fuel, have stable firepower, and are safe.
@@dawlac_dojyo
Thanks for the reply. You are a very creative person
@@dawlac_dojyo
Can you tell me how much oil is consumed per hour if you have worked on it?Please tell me that
Excellent work. I did not understand what the can in the oil supply circuit is doing.
Is it about the can at the bottom?
That is to remove the moisture contained in the oil.
Since the specific gravity is lighter than water, it can be pulled out by attaching a valve at the bottom.
Oil mixed with water is extremely dangerous so we sometimes open the valve and drain water.
@@dawlac_dojyo Many thanks!
clean burn good job
ARIGATOGOZAIMASU🤩
How does the oil go up the pip into the furnice? Shouldn't it be drip feed up position
Piping like this to seal the liquid 😃
@@dawlac_dojyo forgetit!
Interested to know what sort of blower motor that is? Is it from a vehicle?
This fan was removed from a broken oil water heater, but the fan can use anything relatively, a hair dryer is enough 😃
In the case of my stove, only white ash remains when used on high heat, but when used on low heat, moist charcoal-like substances stick to it, so I poke it with a metal rod to make it fine and vacuum it.
waste oil + diesel / acetone or just pure waste oil ? very nice design
Most are waste motor oil. It is ideal because hydraulic fluid does not burn out the most
Can I buy the plans for this from you please? By far best design I’ve come across
Thanks for your comment! This stove is different from the one made by others, it is very quiet, safe, has less fuel consumption, and can be adjusted to the optimum fire power that can also cook with the top cover.Of course it can also be enough to turn the combustion kiln into red. Please try by all means.
Guy hello. I build better waste oil burner. I can give you my plan.

Is that a handle from a chipping hammer welded on?
I did the some on a homemade bbq grill from a compressor tank..
This handle is welded by cutting the lid lifter of the Dutch oven (^^) v
Any chance I could get your plans for this heater???
How to make it? This is really simple so I'm just looking at it(^^)
Could this be used in a Autobody shop and not mess with paint work? How clean can they burn
It is not recommended where there is volatile gas, etc., combustion is smokeless at ignition, and when extinguishing fire, it depends on the state of the burning residue on the bottom of the pot, but there is not much smoke.
Thanks for making this video!
ARIGATO😃
Hello can i use a desile instead of waste oil?
Of course you can use it, but since the tank is open, you may need a tank lid to prevent ignition if the oil is flammable.
Very Nice, clean design!
Is that A old gastank?
Yes its propane tank
That is slick.
@@dawlac_dojyo do you have any "math" behind it? what should be the distance between air intakes from bottom - and what size holes?
@@titusm Air holes with a diameter of 3.5 mm are opened at intervals of 40 mm. But there may be better hole diameters.
hello, can i have more details ??
how many holes did you make in the bottom of the pipe and what diameter ??
what diameter are the rest of the holes and at what intervals in the order from bottom to top ???
Awesome project !!!!
There are two holes on the bottom, the sides are 40 mm apart from the bottom, and the diameter is 3.2 mm. This size and diameter may change depending on the type of oil, the size of the combustion kettle, the type of fan, etc., so for reference 😃
@@dawlac_dojyo ok, what about the rest of the holes ??? do they also have 3,2mm ?? what is the distance between them
All holes are 3.2mm, 40mm apart
I don't know if 3.2mm is the best, but it's a hole diameter that I made without any reason, please tell me if there is a better size 😅
@@dawlac_dojyo ok, i think i know everything, i will try to do something on the weekend. Thank you very much once again and best regards
good job bro👍 i saw no smoke. what about smell? can you use indoor?
There is almost no smoke and almost no odor during combustion, but some oils may smell. However, it cannot be used indoors.
Hi again, i am thinking to use propane ignition system for starting fire, any suggestion, so nice design by the way
When ignited with propane, does the flame of propane heat the waste oil used as fuel to the temperature at which it burns?
amazing! what is the diameter and height of this combustion chamber cylinder?
I am using a propane gas container with a diameter of 320 mm and a height of 600 mm.😊
@@dawlac_dojyo Thank you mate. Greetings from Brazil.
Have you measured maximum temperature this assembly is able to produce?
It could be a very economical furnace for melting aluminum.
I haven't measured the temperature, but I think the blue burning part has reached 1000 ° C. However, when it comes to melting aluminum, I think the flame must be focused upwards on one point. I think it is difficult to use a heater with this structure.
@@dawlac_dojyo ого!!!!
Hi.
Do you have a plan drawing? I would love to build this for my off grid workshop
Bro , thickness of burning chamber
I think the thickness of the combustion kettle was about 3mm. I'm out now, so I'll measure it when I get home and let you know 😃
Thank you for waiting, it's about 2.3mm thick 😃
Excellent!
Thank you😃
Very nice. 1 question. Can the furnace run without the blower motor after it has heated up?
This can not burn without a fan
@@dawlac_dojyo ok thanks
This reminds me of the mobile stoves from the WW2 documentaries.
I see! I think this kind of technology has been around for a long time (^^)
Been looking for a walkthrough of one of these for a very long time thank you! :{)

What size square tubing did you use for the air tube?
I use a 50mm square tube
@@dawlac_dojyo is the end closed?
The bottom is closed, but there is a small hole.
Is that oil burning so good on the floor of the barrel ?? that its not going out ? am i right ? to start it up u need a bit petroleum ? thx
It doesn't burn at the bottom, it just seems to boil and vaporize. Only at the time of ignition, waste oil or kerosene mixed with a small amount of gasoline is added.
What are the holes drilled down the length of the square tubing for? Are they drilled at the same angle you have the gas line bent to at the bottom?
The pipe at the end of the square pipe is bent, but the hole in the pipe is perpendicular to the wall.
❤
