Happy New Year! Riding through water is always scary especially when can tell how deep it is or what the bottom is composed of! I’m so glad that you jumped right back up, said a few choice words to express yourself 😅, and got back on the bike! It’s a new skill. I was more scared of wrecking the bike than myself as I was told we won’t be able to go riding anymore if I sink the bike 😧

My dearest Karalynne, I know that you know this, but you overthink everything when you’re going into the water, you just give it power and give it power until you’re out of the water don’t pull your clutch don’t downshift just go as far as shooting goes nobody shoots the first time and is good Shooting takes time. It takes diligence and training. I do give you a lot of credit for doing something that you’re not comfortable with thank God brian’s here.
I watched itchy boots earlier, and what she goes through on her latest episode might help you a little. ❤

Great vlog, looked like a wonderful clay shooting setup, glad you had a chance to try it out . Hand eye coordination in shooting helps with good safe bike riding.
The breakfast was incredible, and I would happily go spend my weekends there. Great food and all the dogs

Different world isnt it. Im guilty of shooting just never got into clay pigeons. Im sorry but your cursing is just barely on par 😂 with my army days. Not bad for a amateur but room for improvements. Now that im papa my vocabulary has expanded 😂 to be child friendly. Here in the states during power outages if the traffic lights go out even in a small town people lose their dammed minds cant imagine relying on others judgements when to go or stay put in those circumstances. Normal for them would be stressful for most of us myself included. You said in the last video itd been years about 20 or more since visiting there so which one of you grew up there or did you both. I always have a gun with me not for my protection but just out of habit,those signs mean nothing to me😂 predators getting after newborns or chasing livestock and it dont matter where im at you just handle it. Happy new year and i hope 24 is better than all the others god bless.

Gun signs are nowhere here in England so it’s shocking to see them when not used to it. In England it would be something like don’t swim in the pond or don’t feed the birds. And pick up dog poop.
Both Brian and I are originally from South Africa. I left as a child, he stayed until he was 22. We met in Cardiff, 🏴 when he was travelling and I was at uni.

Carolyne, I do not understand why you chose a bike of that size and weight for the type of riding you are both planning to do. Any weight and capacity bike you like is fine for the bitumen roads but I myself prefer choosing a lighter single cylinder bike for anything less than good quality dirt roads. I understand all that is good about larger bikes and large adventure bikes; but at 65 myself I also understand the effort of dealing with large bikes in rugged conditions and lighter is better and safer. Itchy boots has done this sort of riding first on a 250 single cylinder Honda then the next year she got herself a new 300 Honda Rally. Honestly something like that would be better for you in the apparent conditions you plan to travel in. I cringe to understand how you will enjoy riding with the risk of falling in rough conditions repeatedly. {maybe}. I hope you do not get hurt and you enjoy your trip but I worry about how your choice might affect you. Safe travels to you both.

Really hard to control the bike when you keep going sooooo slow. You'll gain some control when you gain some damn speed girl. This type of riding is just not your cup of tea.

I was told not to go too fast and not to go too slow. Trying to listen to instructions and then find my own feet.
@@carolynemoolenschot2907Exactly, you just need time and the opportunity to get that experience. There is no way forcing this and you can get only so far with training. And learning is a lot about trial and error.
