    For what it's worth, this thing is still not only kicking, but working well after almost 3 and a half years.

      I have one that has been going strong for about 5 years of airing up after driving trails. It's not a bad little compressor at all for the money.

      I don’t understand why I’ve gone through 2 of these. Both broke after using it 30x. I use it daily and they both lasted only a month. Is there a fuse I don’t know about? I can’t find one.

      @@kevinbernhardt3568 these pumps tend to heat up and any plastic or rubber components will probably get damaged over time. I went through 2 cheap pumps before realising this issue, I now have the Avid 120v pump and I give it a break after 5-10 mins of pumping . I check my tires every 2 weeks and give it a top off if it needs it , If you wait until your tires are severely deflated then you'll be running the pump for a longer time risking damage . Another solution is to have 2 pumps and alternate between the 2 every 5 minutes

    About 6 years since this video was posted and this thing is still going strong. I now use it on my Tacoma with fairly bigger tires and it seems to continue to handle everything just fine.

    End of 2021 update... I still have this and it's still going strong... BUT I have begun to find its limitations. After inflating 4 of the 285/75r16 (33 inch) tires on my Tacoma from about 16 psi up to highway pressures this thing gets hot! Hot enough in fact that it will auto-shut-off entirely by the time the last tire is filled.

    Good air compressors I've had mine for you years I've used it quite a lot pumping up everything from truck tires to tractor tires and still works good, But the reason why the pressure gauge is not accurate when it's running is because it takes a few psi more to push it through the valve stem

    for sum reason I was thinking this was a pre pack hose of slime and then compressor to inflate tire and you just get a new recharge kit after use non the less nice get up the one I currently pack is old and out dated so should look into a new unit

    I don't think I would want to use it with my engine off. Would that ruin the pump if you had the engine on? Have you ever killed your battery with this compressor, or do you use it with your engine on?

  • @jameskoralewski296

      @@HighjakSecondaryI bought it on Amazon. Had it too long for refund. So I just threw it in the trash. I Still have a little cheap slime tire inflator that I purchased from autozone for 25 bucks and it still works so I'm not bashing the company but was shocked when I couldn't get this thing to work. I was using it on my RV tires, max pressure and recommended pressure 80 psi. I may have use it 3-4 times in a year.

      Yep! Still have it and it still works. I wouldn't say I use it a lot, but I still have yet to buy a dedicated garage air compressor so any time I need to add air to either set of my Subaru tires or the wife's car I use this one... still kicking! No issues so far.

    • @vanillahessence5592
      @vanillahessence5592 2 роки тому

      Your cigarette lighter would have a fuse that would blow when using your air compressor because the compressor draws too many amps to be on a cig circuit

    i just purchased the same compressor and the heat sinks are plastic painted silver to look like metal. they should be metal. which is a bummer because the picture on the box makes them look like metal. pretty dissapointing because i paid $70 for the thing i would expect metal heat sinks.
