  • Ever since pictures were released of the MultiStrada V4 Pikes Peak, it's been one of the bikes I've always wanted to try. Nice tall bike, with a V4 engine, sports handling and off road capability - whats not to love.
This ride was mainly testing the touring ability of such a big bike through a mix of towns, B-roads and national speed limit roads. I always felt this could be a natural successor to my Hyper while still maintaining that sport ride - that front 17" Marchesini wheel certainly helps!
Massive thanks to the legend Wayne Calver for trusting me and letting me ride his Multi PP V4.

As a fellow biker (plse don't be offended) but I think you need to keep your speeds down in those built up areas and try not to overtake just before a junction (9mins). Sometimes it's difficult for car drivers to judge the speed of an oncoming motorcycle, but we can be our own worst enemies sometimes.

I own a Hyper 950 and a Ms V4 PP. Both are nice bikes. I use my bikes for commuting. Cold , rainy weather or longer highway trips, then I take the PP, shorter trips are for the hyper. When pillion riding with my wife it is certainly with the PP. 😊 I love both bikes!

Great bikes to have in the collection… I felt the PP just needs some fine tuning on the suspension (softer springs, raise the forks through triple clamp, dial it in to the rider weight) and it be just as capable as the Hyper in the corners 🤟🏽

Hi, is there so much difference between the Pikes peak and the hypemotard in terms of performance in the curves?

Two completely different bikes for two purposes and each have merit. I bought both and reliquished my Superduke GT (the PP's job), my KTM Duke 890R and KTM SMC 690 R--for the Hypermotard. No regrets. ALL good bikes . After 12 KTm's with 4 Ducatis interspersed--It was Ducati time.

As I’m such a Hyper fan.. this PP felt like a natural step for torque, grunt everyday road riding like what my Hyper does. Can’t knock KTM, them machines are fast!

Could you perhaps do more of a walk around or bikes please? Vids great but more visual or the bike for me

Fair shout.. common sense seemed to escape me.. I just wanted to ride it. Should be plenty of those walkaround vids floating about

Distinctly lacking the deep bassy boom and intake of pre-Audi Ducati's. Shame.

It’s a touch quiet.. not bad on full throttle and sport/racing evo mode - but yeah needs some more V4 sound with a decat 👍🏻

Are you getting old, bro? I kid, I kid... it's a lovely bike, but I still can't come to terms wtih getting an ADV -- I still see them as my "dad's bike".

I’m the same.. ADV still have that grey beard/pot belly, dads-bike stigma about them but this PP is a touch different and has similar characteristics to the Hyper hence why i liked it.
