I totally agree with you regarding everything you said. Including the people blaming her for rejecting the invitation. Like, why would you want her to be there?? Most people don't, and I'm sure the RF is relieved. Like people have got to realize what to criticize and what not to criticize. This was the right decision for all parties involved. When Meghan joined the family it seemed like she was a great favourite with The Queen. The amount of support and guidance she obviously received right from the beginning was staggering, especially when compared to Catherine, who had started out very low key as a working royal. Now I wonder how much of this was in fact favour and how much was Meghan being pushy and maybe Her Majesty trying to reign her in before she could become a problem. Speaking as an American (a Californian, even) who was hopeful and positive toward her at the time, her mention of "modernizing the Monarchy" immediately stuck in my craw. It was the first red flag I'd seen/heard. I thought it was very out of her place to say such a thing, and let me know she was pretty clueless about the institution and even the great nation she'd been invited to become a part of. At that time I hadn't yet seen the "engagement interview"🙄
The engagerment video was my big red flag - she was over-confident and she conducted the whole interview! Speaking in that sugary voice she adopts, plus the ham acting, with those goo goo eyed glances at Harry, made me realise she was never going to fit in!

Do you have evidence that the Palace was left waiting? How about this, as there has been such a huge backlash from the artists that rejected attending the event. She is disgusting!!! Most “normal” people would be so very excited and gracious to be even remotely affiliated with the royal family but nooooo she’s a “victim” of abuse. Having to deal with racism. No other Royal has had such 'trouble' with the media. No other Royal has held the media in such contempt. So it's not surprising that the UK media is poking them every which way now, trolling them really! They've brought this on themselves mostly IMHO. I'm glad Catherine put her foot down. But the RF has allowed this circus to go and on for so long now that I doubt I'll watch the crowning!

I think it is entirely possible that Tom Bower was ill advised. On the one hand he puts out that Catherine won't attend if HW does, to then toss that out and say that HW would have to be seated far away for Catherine to feel comfortable. Both cannot be true. Had Catherine threatened not to attend, why would she then discuss seating arrangements ? That's simply not logical, and to quote Judge Judy, "if it doesn't make sense then it's not true!"
I don't think Catherine said that either. Catherine would know it's Charles who has the final say on who's coming and it's not her place to object to his decisions, make demands or threats, express unhappiness with the arrangements etc., either publicly or privately to Charles. It's his coronation and his decisions after consulting with advisors and organisers. Privately, she may have said to William or her friends that she was unhappy about Meghan or she wished she weren't coming (or worse!), but that's it. Even if Meghan were coming, I think Catherine would have to lump it (For anyone who doesn't know 'lump it', it means go along with something you don't like).

I should have listened to my intuition, instead, and just left, as soon as I saw his true character - never mind with or without receipts! You look so young, in your photo, and so happy. I live in a rural part of Illinois in the U.S. While scrolling through the radio yesterday, I heard an interlude where a man announced Harold would be at the coronation which received mild applause. The announcer then said the wife would not be attending to which a sound clip of thunderous applause was played. It’s not that anyone around here cares about it much, but it is being used as quite the joke at their expense. It also goes to prove how dishonest the wife was being when she told Harold and people in the UK that Americans don’t know anything about the royals or Royal protocol.

I live in a rural part of England, when Harry announced about Meghan. Myself and the rest of UK have no clue who she is. She is an actress with this show called suits which we have no idea. We accepted her and yes we celebrated the wedding. But then Meghan accused us, the British people who pay for her wedding, all the travelling as a working Royals, renovations for the frogmore cottage etcc.., we are racist towards her. UK is a multi cultural country, we have nearly every race here. I am a New Yorker, a mixed blood and well accepted here. Been living here for so many years and am a British citizen now. She and Harry tried to destroy the monarchy here but it did not work. They insulted the commonwealth and so many others. What is in store for them next? Totally agree with your summation of the whole Meghan situation. She was put off by being told there would be no tiara moment, no decent seat at the coronation and no balcony appearance. She was also afraid of being cold shouldered by the other royals and of being booed by the crowd. There were just too many negatives for her ego and need for royal kudos to withstand.

I think it was the first time she properly realised just how loathed she was by the other royals. Pluto, you are right on. I have another angle to add to the HR story. I think by that time, she was so unhappy with her staff, and knew they were unhappy with her (heck, many had quit by that point) that she went to HR with her distressing tales of woe to complain about them and cover her backside. Later, she morphed this carelessly into a story about how she was seeking help for her mental health. She did visit HR, but did not want to tell the world it was because of staff interaction troubles. What she failed to realize is that her new story had holes in it, namely, HR was not for her, so she was ridiculed for thinking it was.
I don’t think Meghan is capable of doing anything worthwhile even if the right conditions are set for her. She’s just who she is. She is unlikeable, spoils everything, jumps from one thing to another and can’t make anything work.

The Queen ‘never refused to have her picture taken with Lili’, since those pilots say no children were on the manifest or on the jet. I absolutely agree that Catherine is not behind Meghan not coming and further, she would never do this to the King. Meghan is not coming because she didn’t get her way that is why the children are not coming. Harry is only coming because it would be too easy to remove their titles if none of them attended.

I totally agree with you regarding everything you said. Including the people blaming her for rejecting the invitation. Like, why would you want her to be there?? Most people don't, and I'm sure the RF is relieved. Like people have got to realize what to criticize and what not to criticize. This was the right decision for all parties involved. When Meghan joined the family it seemed like she was a great favourite with The Queen. The amount of support and guidance she obviously received right from the beginning was staggering, especially when compared to Catherine, who had started out very low key as a working royal.
Now I wonder how much of this was in fact favour and how much was Meghan being pushy and maybe Her Majesty trying to reign her in before she could become a problem. No other Royal has had such 'trouble' with the media. No other Royal has held the media in such contempt. I think it is entirely possible that Tom Bower was ill advised. On the one hand he puts out that Catherine won't attend if HW does, to then toss that out and say that HW would have to be seated far away for Catherine to feel comfortable. Both cannot be true. Had Catherine threatened not to attend, why would she then discuss seating arrangements ? That's simply not logical, and to quote Judge Judy, "if it doesn't make sense then it's not true!"
I don't think Catherine said that either. Catherine would know it's Charles who has the final say on who's coming and it's not her place to object to his decisions, make demands or threats, express unhappiness with the arrangements etc., either publicly or privately to Charles. It's his coronation and his decisions after consulting with advisors and organisers. Privately, she may have said to William or her friends that she was unhappy about Meghan or she wished she weren't coming (or worse!), but that's it. Even if Meghan were coming, I think Catherine would have to lump it (For anyone who doesn't know 'lump it', it means go along with something you don't like).

Whatever he did for anyone else was considered a big deal, but anything anyone else did for him would be dismissed as inconsequential - if it wasn't forgotten, altogether. I thought at least he'd appreciate my financial contributions, but that was all forgotten or minimized, too, while every cent he'd spent on me was given a feast day. In the divorce, he'd claimed that I'd contributed nothing, ever, to anything. I could prove the big stuff, but not the little things, and I wished I'd kept the actual receipts, to throw in his face. Now, I know it wouldn't have mattered. He was determined to be the victim; nothing was going to stop him, not even proof against it.
I had a hang-up about divorce, and it cost me dearly: more than a decade, and countless opportunities in work, even a chance at real love. I should have listened to my intuition, instead, and just left, as soon as I saw his true character - never mind with or without receipts! You look so young, in your photo, and so happy. I live in a rural part of Illinois in the U.S. While scrolling through the radio yesterday, I heard an interlude where a man announced Harold would be at the coronation which received mild applause. The announcer then said the wife would not be attending to which a sound clip of thunderous applause was played. It’s not that anyone around here cares about it much, but it is being used as quite the joke at their expense.
It also goes to prove how dishonest the wife was being when she told Harold and people in the UK that Americans don’t know anything about the royals or Royal protocol.

Totally agree with your summation of the whole Meghan situation. She was put off by being told there would be no tiara moment, no decent seat at the coronation and no balcony appearance. She was also afraid of being cold shouldered by the other royals and of being booed by the crowd.
There were just too many negatives for her ego and need for royal kudos to withstand.

Pluto, you are right on. I have another angle to add to the HR story. I think by that time, she was so unhappy with her staff, and knew they were unhappy with her (heck, many had quit by that point) that she went to HR with her distressing tales of woe to complain about them and cover her backside. Later, she morphed this carelessly into a story about how she was seeking help for her mental health. She did visit HR, but did not want to tell the world it was because of staff interaction troubles. What she failed to realize is that her new story had holes in it, namely, HR was not for her, so she was ridiculed for thinking it was.

Excellent video!! Thank you for pointing out what others have seen since day one. She is totally predictable in her actions and extremely calculated. She thrives off of it. She says, does and plants things so that she can one day pull from her bag of tricks and claim, I have receipts! How she gets others to put out and do things on her behalf is just mind blowing. They are clearly being used, but yet, they cover for her. Mariah Carey called her a diva, MM despised the remark. You could clearly hear in her tone of voice post podcast, that she was shocked that Mariah referred to her as one! Getting Mariah days later to claim she said it with good intentions. Why make excuses for her. Made me realize even Mariah Carey can be bought. Agree with Pluto, MM had a plan all along. Can't even imagine what chaos she caused the RF behind the scenes that we will never know/hear about. So glad she will not be attending the coronation, she does not deserve to be there. Wish others would stop making it seem like MM is of importance and should be there with Harry. Glad RF are not giving into any of her demands.

@@judytreischl6899 --I believe the pilots, since they have no reason to lie. They work for a private jet company. The Queen ‘never refused to have her picture taken with Lili’, since those pilots say no children were on the manifest or on the jet. So unless MM had hired kids there in London (which I doubt) the lie did Harry & the Harridan as well as anything else. It was just another way to smear the family.
He flew private plane to polo game only to realize when he got there that he had forgotten his polo equipment!? So what did he do? He had his slave fly back to Monticito,pick up his polo gear & flew it right back to him via a private jet. I don't recall even a mention about Archie's 3rd birthday. These 2 need to call it a day & just go away somewhere private
