Even in 2013 I remember travelling from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Chennai Central by Rajdhani which was clocking 148 kmph . I was sitting opposite to a gentleman who was checking with speedometer. Delhi it started around 4pm and reached Agra by 5.40pm.
Rajdhani has maximum permissible speed of just 130kmph. So your device was wrong.

130kmph acceleration is nothing in railways in 2022, because I vividly remember 1981 to 85, Kovai superfast express, particularly Alcos were operating at 110 to 120 kmph between jolarpet and coimbatore jn. Will start at 6.10 am in Chennai and will reach coimbatore at 1.25pm. with a engine change over of 20 mts on either directions at Jolarpet. 5mts in 5 junctions each. 25mts gone. Railmen working on tracks thru 492 kms for another 20 mts. 1 hr gone. The actual running time is only 6.15 hours
Yes, those days speeds were no less. As a matter of fact train speeds have remained same except for shatabdi Rajadani etc.

If all tracks are upgraded for 160 kmph there will be more services and save so many peoples time which will translate to boosting our nation's economy
In those days they were no lhb coaches only icf so icf top speed is 110 and 100 at that time so what you are telling is wrong

In return direction it will commence its journey at 2.05 from Coimbatore and reach Chennai at 9.50 because while entering Chennai 15 to 20mts minimum wait on outer for night trains to come out.

I feel LHBs have now become synonymous to flat wheel sounds. Every video of high speed LHB action has this sound. Throughout my lifelong train travels, I have never heard this much of flat wheel sounds from ICF coaches. Not sure if its a concern of build quality.

Bro all lhb coaches are designed to run at 200 kmph. But the track limit the speed to 130kmph. Gatiman express run at 160kmph with same lhb coaches.

@random stuffs this is because of a defect called flat wheel which causes this sound.
