[IRFCA] Inside Shatabdi Express Locomotive,Ultimate Loco Ride in WDG4 Engine!!

- An Ultimate Loco Cab Ride in Shatabdi Express Locomotive i.e EMD GT46ACe WDG4 freight diesel locomotive got the honour to haul the prestigious Train i.e Shatabdi Express. Here in this video Train passes few kilometre under fog with very less visibility and a hard task espically for the Loco Pilot and the Assistant Loco Pilot for the approaching signals and trespassers at unmened level crossing which in result honks continusously and touches the top speed of 100KMPH with overtakes and crossings with few trains enroute. Thankfully the singal Cab loco was in SHF mood else it become too tuff job for the pilots to point out signals in LHF (Long Hood Front) mood in dense condition.

About WDG4 Loco

The EMD GT46MAC/GT46ACe is a freight-hauling diesel-electric locomotive with AC electric transmission built by General Motors Electro-Motive Diesel in 1997-1998 for Indian Railways, where they are classed as WDG 4. Thirteen were built by EMD as order #958647, and a further eight were exported in kit form and were assembled in India. The class entered service in 1999.
Further construction has been under license in India by the Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW); more than 60 additional locomotives have been built as of 2006. They are numbered from #12001 upward. A similar type, the EMD GT46PAC, has also been produced for passenger service in India.
As of 2007, EMD and DLW have begun building GT46Ace's using IGBT technology to replace the older gate turn-off thyristor technology. Newer editions with 4,500 hp (3,400 kW) have been produced. Over 1,000 WDG-4 locomotives are currently in operation. Also WDG 4's newer version and dual cab locomotive WDG 4D are better to drive and it has more power.

That's what I'm wondering
Appreciatiating that; many time when the rakes are shunted at the origin station, the locos may not be available . In that case other locomotive are used (*called offlink) . Keeping apart WDG4s are also able to haul passenger train as it is an easy cake for them. They are built to haul 70 fully loaded Freight at 105kmph even at 1.5% gradient.

Question: Notice Luggage Brake & Generator Car. We don't see those here in North America except for luggage (baggage) cars. What is the purpose of these cars? Usually have seen them at the rear of trains in videos here. Thank you

These are single tracks and they are constantly on Radio with nearest station and also they know the upcoming signals from the train opposite to them by the flag display of loco pilot
