Not that my opinion matters but I’ve been watching your vlogs for so long and you’re the happiest you’ve been in a long time with your family. It’s scary but I think buying the first place is the best move ❤️
a thing to note when you think you're not getting a lot of light right now...you're actually getting way more light the rest of the year. this time of the year we have shorter days. you can check out websites that will tell you how much light you get you just enter in the address.

I feel like Tara’s heart is telling her to get a place in Toronto and stay. I also think she knows deep down she will be selling her LA home. But it’s the emotional attachment that’s holding her back.

Yes, and when you are emotionally ready you should be comfortable to put in an offer same day or next day at the latest. I've bought three properties, I've put offers that evening or next morning in fear of losing it (Toronto area is a hot market right now especially) she may have more time, I'm assuming those properties are well over a million and generally don't move as quickly.

Stay close to family when you're young, parents don't last forever sadly. You also seem so happy back in Canada. L.a. will always be there the same as it is now. I definitely think renting in l.a. and a real home in Canada is the way to go girly. ❤

Also ask your parents opinion...they do always know best! Moving back to Canada is kind of a no brainer but your Dad seems to be very financially savvy and Im sure could guide you with the house buying.
100% agree! She's so much happier there I think I would actually be sad if she chose to keep her place in L.A. after seeing how vibrant she's become since being back home.

Close your eyes and picture yourself with your husband and kids. Now do you want your kids to see their grandparents a couple times a year or all the time. Do you want your kids to be raised around cousins like you were? You already know the answer in your heart. No one needs to tell you. I am 61 years old. I was 40, blinked and was in my 60s. My advice is don’t waste time. You know what you want go after it. Life is short. As far as selling your house it seems here in the US right now the minute you list something it’s sold in 30 days I don’t think that would be a problem your place is beautiful. Also wanted to add in that you have already succeeded so much in life at such a young age, it truly inspires me and I'm sure many of your followers! I can tell how much happier you are being near your family. I think deep down your heart knows what you need to do.
Family always, always comes first! And also think about how happy your parents will be. I am a mother of three and I love having two out of three of my children nearby. Life goes so fast. I just lost my 91-year-old mother a month ago and I am so thankful that we lived within miles of each other my whole life.
Don’t be overwhelmed.. you do what feels right to you.. family is so important I really don’t think u would regret moving closer to ur parents..
You mentioned this in a previous vlog but I love the idea of having your main residence in Canada and getting an apartment in LA. It’s a huge decision to make of course. Good luck to you!

I started to follow you back in the spring. First I love your content and I love that I can watch you while my 6 year old is in the same room. I look forward to your updates and your content has really helped me with this quarantine. I’m in Michigan and this is month 9 of quarantine for my son and I. Since you’ve been back to Canada you’ve have seemed so much happier and content. I think it’s great that you are thinking moving back home. I can say that having your support system around you especially as you get older (and if you ever have kids) is a big deal. But whatever decision you decide on, I fully support you and am excited to see what comes!
I just started watching Tara during quarantine and it’s crazy how much of a difference I can feel in her happiness now that she’s back in Toronto in the short amount of time of me being a subscriber. I’m excited for and supportive of whatever she decides!

It's a lot of change and a lot happening at once but please lean on your family and friends. This will be a really exciting time for you. To quote your dad, "we just might have to figure something out." That townhouse screamed your name!

I can very much relate to you and your situation, I moved out of my home town when I was 19 and lived (near LA) on my own for 4/5 years and I loved it then as we approached 2019 I had this strong feeling of needing something new in fact I was almost depressed at feeling stuck at where I was at and my dad offered if I would move with them to Oregon since they were moving up there for a job transfer and I won’t lie I was scared in the initial moving process but a year in I can say it was the best decision. I feel like I’ve had all these new opportunities since being here and especially being around family again is a bonus! I can see you moving back to Canada being a positive thing for you! You’ve seemed so happy in just this short amount of time you’ve been back and I can tell how happy your parents are to have you there!
I also had one of those dry, red, puffy spots and I just put moisturizer on it frequently and it eventually went away.
Can’t even describe my excitement to watch this! My grandfather passed away last week due to covid and I’ve watched your videos for years, it’s a comfort of mine and they have cheered me up so much!! X

Aww, Tara! This is a happy positive thing! You are so happy around your family, don't worry or stress.
My daughter recently became an adult and had to start making adult decisions. Some of which have scared or overwhelmed her.
Here's what I told her... If you feel overwhelmed or scared by a decision... I like to look at the whole, "what's the absolute worst that can happen?"
How bad is that worst thing?
For example: let's say the worst is that you'll regret it. So, What if you do?
Very few things are permanent. Buying a home there doesn't mean you'll have to be there forever if you realize it's not what you want. You've proven that.
If this isn't something you wanted deep down I don't think you would've liked any of them enough to even get this stressed.
I think your fear and the overwhelming feelings are happening because of how much you DO want it.
Lots of hugs! Enjoy the blessings in all of this. You are a young woman capable of all this?! That alone is amazing.

I've been 20 years away growing my new family in another town, and trust me the support you take from your close people you can never find it elsewhere.We live through difficult years we don't know what the future will bring all over the world, so it is very important to have your family near by.

You seem a lot happier in Toronto, plus you will always be able to go back to LA whenever you want and visit friends plus spend time but that doesn’t mean you have to keep your house there!!

I know I don't know you personally, but at the same time, I feel like I kinda do....? lol But, I have noticed such a different in your aura since you went back to Canada. I feel like you have peace knowing you are close to family. I think that if you feel a pull, go for it. Anyone who is in your life from LA, if they truly value you, they won't let that connection fall short. You are almost 26 and as scary as it is to think about, when you find that person and start to have a family, you are going to want your kids to know your parents, your brother, and all your other family. I know that isn't the priority now, but it will be one day. Just do what your heart is telling you deep down. You are fortunate to have a job where you can really be anywhere and you are established enough to keep it going. I have been enjoying watching you experience new things and I just hope it all falls into place for you. ♥️

I think when you first moved to la you were so excited for a change bc till then Toronto was all you knew so la made you really happy back then (I've been subscribed since fidm days) and you spent a lot of your younger adult life doing something so completely new. so now since you're getting older its not wrong for your taste to change. it makes sense to make a decision on a place that would make sense for you for the long run and what also makes you feel like home.

I am screaming through the screen. Buy your dream home. You seem so much happier in Canada and you are family oriented. Even after covid it just seems like the place you need to be in. You want your future in Canada it doesn’t mean you can’t go to LA. But go for the place where you are happiest and that seems like Canada.
Just do it! You are thriving being back in Canada with your family. It just makes sense to sell the LA house and make it permanent in Toronto! Even moreso during this pandemic, who knows when it will be over and if LA will ever be the same again ❤❤

okay is this a generational thing because my parents also DO NOT UNDERSTAND how i hate lights and need natural light!! they're always like, too bad, you can't just sit in the dark, and i'm like, it's not dark! there's natural light!!
My mum is nearly 76, im 39 and we're the opposite haha she'll put one lamp on, im like this is too daaark!!! haha
Then there is my dad, who is 66, and he just doesn't like any light. He turns a light off as soon as he enters the room and will just sit in the dark lol

It feels so meant to be even though I don't know if I would be doing it if COVID didn't happen.... but I am trusting my gut. Crossing my fingers for you- remember nothing is truly permanent and do what feels right!
personally i think if the only thing REALLY keeping you in LA is the house..... just move to canada. a house is just a house and you seem much happier in canada with your family! family is EVERYTHING especially when you are young and your family is too! you don’t want to regret it later in life.
Move back to Toronto! I can’t tell you’re sooooo much happier at home, and then travel to LA during our long winters in Canada!
I'm glad you're going to do the Spiritual Reading!!! This will calm and give clarity to your mind and soul. I believe the NEW NORM will be here in the USA for a long time to come. Canada seams to have a better hold on the situation than us. The population here is larger but from our news feed California residents have refused to fallow the shut down rules. It's safer where you are and you look so much happier. Merry Christmas!!!
I moved away for 5 years but so happy I moved back home and had that extra time with my grandparents. We are not getting any younger. I just think back to the time you landed into Canada and how teary you got seeing your parents. If I couldn't see my parents every week I don't think I'd cope. Covid has put things into perspective for me. Best of luck on your decision x

My unsolicited advice is wait until the pandemic is over to go back to LA and see how you feel then. I think you need to go back to to LA again to get more clarity if you want to sell your house! Always follow your heart tara. We mainly want you to be happy. We love you & want you do trust your gut with what feels right. la is completely overrated & overwhelming anyways.
