- We've been WAITING FOR THIS ONE!! I finaaaallyy gave my balcony a full HOLIDAY makeover!!! We start the day off with my intuitive reading and then my dad came to help set up all the new balcony furniture!! I also have a bit of a breakdown at the end of the vlog... so be prepared for lots of tears lololol

I totally agree with this! I moved to Pittsburgh PA from KY & my best friend is back in KY! I miss her so much but it won’t change a thing! It’ll make you guys so much closer!
My 3 best friends from high school live all over the US and even though we’re in our late 20s now we still talk every day. So tough, but real friends are forever. 💕

I feel like you’re in TO because you need to be. You said you left LA in a “state of desperation” and “expecting to be back wishing 3 weeks” but you’re not. I think that means you truly know what you need and where you need to be. Also nothing is permanent if you don’t want it to be. Homes can be sold and lives can be altered. Best friends are always going to be there, and if they’re not, they’re not your friends.
I personally think you are exactly where you need to be. Sell the home in LA, be done with all that shit and start over in TO. You can always get an apt in LA in a few months to visit your friends every few months when the world is back to normal!

It's emotional to consider closing a chapter in your life that you really enjoyed, knowing those times as you knew them have ended. But you'll always have the wonderful memories that you'll cherish forever ❤️

My best friend moved away from me about 5 years ago and we still talk every single day and are closer than ever. It makes us appreciate the time when we’re together a lot more and makes it more special. It can be hard at times but you get used to it ❤️
I moved in the middle of my senior year of high school 1000 miles away from my best friend ON her birthday. Best friends make it work, i promise you. Distance really makes the heart grow fonder and the times you get to spend together once you move are so much more special!!
My best friend for 23 years moved away to Sweden 6 years ago. We’re still in contact every day. If you want you can keep the friendship up :)

💓Seeing Tara cry is the worst part of my day. (Crying is a good thing btw!!! I just get sad to see the tears; but releasing it rather than holding in is the best decision) You have no idea how much you have inspired me, I have written a long comment on your last vlog on what I feel through the screen, the energy that the fans can feel is amazing trust me. We have this sort of connection with you almost. At least I know exactly how you feel. Everything happens for a reason. You feel this way because I think Canada truly is for you. You can always go back to La. But it is Canada for now. You are blessed with parents there etc. Lysm and also I think you should buy a house in Canada and rent your La house and if that’s still out of the budget sell it. Living besides the witch for the rest of some years, noo🥺 You are so happy in Canada, at this moment you are not because you feel overwhelmed and are still in an apartment I know!! Also a question: Have you considered trying to live in a house in Canada before buying (Idk if thats possible but if so that would be great) or.. just visualize!!!! Manifest what you want!!! Spirituality! It will give you answers! The energy you put out in the universe will come back. If you focus on Idk what to do, im confused, I dont want to take the wrong step or I am overwhelmed it will come back, because your focus will be on the confusion, overwhelm, wrong step etc. But that’s okay! It’s not gonna happen because you mostly put out the good energy trust me. Focus on: I want answers, I want to take the RIGHT step. What is the best decision for me? I am at peace but I want to know my dream place. It will give you a sign, your answers. Also read a spiritual or self help book. Books are more effective because you truly get to reflect. That spiritual course was also a powerful move, it will give you the answers subconsciously soon/ maybe already has cause this vlog was filmed earlier! Luvvv that balcony&Lysm girl💕🧿✨

You are so blessed and fortunate to have your amazing parents and family to lean on for support to help you navigate these life decisions. They only have your best interest in mind. That is clearly obvious. Embrace them and their support. Wishing u continued success. There are no wrong choices just new ones which can be permanent or temporary. Don’t stress so much my dear...you have tons of people behind you.

There is always hope you will live close to your bestie again! I moved to Canada in 2011 and 2 years later my best friend I left behind also made the move to Canada with her husband! You never know! Esp since your Bestie has a Bf from where you are from, I mean how much more convenient could that get?

Tara, I admire you so much. I’m so proud of everything you’ve done. Going to LA at 19 pushed you to do so many amazing things. You made great friends, lost friends, learned to navigate a different city, learned more about yourself, etc. I’ve seen you turn into this person that puts so much passion, so much love, and so much creativity into everything you do. This decision is hard but please let your heart guide you.

When I moved away from my best friend, who is literally my soulmate, to the states it was so so so hard. Through the years our friendship has grown so much and it’s become stronger. We travel to see each other and although it’s heartbreaking saying bye when she leaves, when we see each other again its all worth it. Be strong and chin up. Soon you’ll be able to see her and who know what the future will hold, that’s the one thing this year has taught me. Love ya ♥️

It's been four years (!!) since I moved away from LA and I went through ALL the emotions in making that decision. It's so hard to leave your friends that become your family (especially when you're so far from home). Life takes us on a journey and you're leaning into that! It's terrifying and thrilling and I think we're all excited to watch you take your next steps!

My boyfriends mom works right beside the school where that tree is. It is decorated like that every year and I love to visit it at least once during the holidays. It’s stunning. I wish you so much happiness during this time & comfort in any decision you make🤍

It’s very emotional to see your friends go so far away. I’m in the exact spot that I guess Jill is for you! Many of my friends moved away for their careers etc. BUT it is totally possible to keep friends close from far away

First off, while watching your video I thought to myself man when my kids are grown this is what I hope our relationship is like! Secondly love the lights, going to look for some. And lastly, moving away from friends is challenging but in an odd way makes your bond even stronger, and the times together even sweeter.
I'm from Venezuela (currently in LA) and we basically live in an endless summer so seeing all the clips from winter in Canada makes me so happy!!! ⛄️⛄️ Also, ABSOLUTELY LOVE your balcony decoration!
Tara, moving to TO will never take your best friend away. It just means that the times you have together is even MORE special. Jilly would always want the best for you forever and always and when the world can travel again, she will only be a short flight away. Being close to your parents is going to be important because as sad as it is, they wont be around forever and having them near is important to keep your heart full. Jilly will be a phone call away whenever you need her. She is an amazing friend and you know she would want you to make a decision that will make you overall the happiest.
I look forward to these vlogs every day (it's at 6pm where I live) and it's a great relaxing thing to do to end my day and start unwinding. They are seriously THE best❤
It's a huge change in your life so it's ok to cry! Cry all you need to, at the end you know what's best for you and sometimes that comes with heartbreak over what your lifestyle and idea for your life was, now it's changed and in the future who knows ! I’m in a long distance relationship with my best friend. Toronto---> California. It’s hard but it’s been about 4 years now and we haven’t seen each other due to the pandemic but nothings changed

As a much older lady I say Yes to that, good for you for the value you’ve placed on that friendship. I regret I didn’t make that effort with a couple of best friends when I was young. I’ve had a best friend the past 7yrs and when she moved away(only couple hours away) we talk almost every day, we make time❤️
