From one massage therapist to another, this instruction is excellent !❤ not just the technique, but how you move, the flow of it, the careful precision that you employ….it’s truly a thing of beauty to watch. The client must LOVE what you’re doing!❤❤
This is great honestly, I'm going on school for physiotherapy and this is helping alot, thank you so much for sharing your amazing knowledge helping me get better, wonderful.
Really good educational and informative video 👍 Even though I’ve had many clients that want firm massages but don’t like stroking/ effleurage or forearms and elbows 😂 like what am I supposed to do

Hi 👋 our Online course is a refresher course which provides a CPD certificate. If you would like a full qualification, you’d need a face to face course (if based in UK🇬🇧 ).
Thought 💭 you could use the ‘cc’ link at the top or some times bottom of the video, to get automatic subtitles in your language? If this isn’t right please let me know.
Genuine question.Would this technique work if the therapist wore medical gloves? l have issues with possible spike-protein contaminated specialists transferring the proteins to me if they themselves had taken the cv-19 jab.?
Yes you can wear gloves if needed. You may need slightly more medium than without the gloves, depending on if there is any additional friction created from their use. Enjoy using these techniques within your work, and hope this helps.
Looks like a lot of twisting of the therapists wrists through treatment- this will cause therapist injuries if over utilised. Need to stack joints a little bit more I think. Good video though.
There’s slight rotation of the radial-ulnar joint during the sawing motion to aid friction and lift of the tissue, which helps to increase the stretch that the client feels. The joint is designed to move this way, so shouldn’t stress the therapist. Plus keeping the wrist stacked reduces pressure on the joint. Absolutely, therapists need to look after themselves 👍 and use their body weight to aid pressure, rather than pushing just through their joints to help to reduce risk of injury to the therapist, as all types of massage therapy can put a toll on the therapists body over time. Look after you 👍

I like that you don't break contact with your hands which feels strange to the person being worked on.
