I own a 2009 Kia Borrego EX Limited V8 and I have owned it since 2010 as a left over 2009 and I love it to death. You are wrong it does not ride like a truck and it doesn't have a heavy feel and the steering is fabulous. I highly regret the fact the Kia stopped selling the Borrego in the USA. But it is still being sold over seas. Huge mistake for Kia to stop selling the Borrego in the USA. I highly recommend the Borrego.
CJ Hebel I agree with you if it sold well in usa we would have gotten vehical specific after market parts I'm from Saudi Arabia and I have 2016 kia mohave I knew someone have it for 10 years and it is still working well considering the high temperature and disert storms borrego proved it is amazing suv
The Borrego is very underrated and got a bad shot for 2009, only..I was shocked that there was a V8 in it. I want a used one since nobody knows about them and are reliable. The Borrego in Korea is called the Mohave, and they just made a new updated version, that is a direct competitor of the Telluride. Strange, but I guess Asia likes the Borrego nameplate and truck like SUV.
Somebody should start up a petition on change.org to bring the Kia Borrego back to the US. Next year is when Kia Motors will debut the 2020 Kia Telluride. The Telluride is named after the popular ski resort town of Telluride, Colorado and will be assembled at the assembly plant in West Point, Georgia; which is where the Kia Sorento is assembled. According to reports, the Kia Telluride will be Kia's attempt at making a gain in the Luxury SUV market.
I love the styling of this car! But I don't know why nobody ever buys one? Do people have no taste!?!? It's geart looking, it's got five star crash saftey rating, and aparently it's got the most fuel effeicnt v8 engein sold in Canada and America.
@@MrSimmer17 If they were "nice and reliable" they would have sold much better. They didn't cuz they are bad. Transmission issues galore. I'm sure the 7 people that own them in 2021 will say anything lol. Google is your friend here.
This car is a piece of shit. Everything feels cheap and rough. The ride is awful, you can't go offroading worth shit and the V8 is thirsty beyond its delivery. You get no speed, and no towing power yet the engine continues to drink like a fish- where does all that gas go? It goes into moving around this ugly hunk of garbage that's simply a pig in lipstick. It's just terrible.... Look elsewhere.

It was way ahead of its time for KIA. They need to bring it back.
