i allways try beating this spellcard like if it was yukari's spiriting away.
    don't, it dosen't work
panicking and moving super fast is actually not the way to do it

You have to be fast, otherwise they overlap in some strange ways, creating even more difficult situations. Failing at the last spell is especially frustrating because the last spellcard has a reasonable 1/3 capture rate but the anchor madness before has a 1/30 rate :-/

Almost done with いろセカ, starting Little Busters, and there certainly is an improvement in my reading. In a couple months I guess I'll report back, 先生, when I start 星メモ lol. Thanks for helping me throughout these comments haha.
That said now I'm learning lots of vocab, but I'm getting flustered by grammar more than I'd like, so I need to know, how did you get the hang of it/how did you approach it?

Before starting to learn Japanese, I was already into Anime for a year or so, which made me somewhat familiarized with the general flow of sentences and all pronounciation, even when knowing little to no vocabs. When getting serious with the language, I've simply read through grammar guides and after that, I trusted my ability to passively get experienced in grammar through a natural feeling for the language. I always disliked the idea of doing grammar exercises with some notebook and because I realized that getting vocabs is a huge task, I made grammar a low priority. Having daily contact with different media (VNs, Anime, Music, Games, Internet, later on Light Novels), you simply get used to hearing all types of grammatical expressions sooner or later. Looking back, just skimming through grammar guides was enough for reading. I can't explain every grammar point, but I still know how they work and can use them. But when it come to speaking, I'm still often not sure how to properly build a sentence. So if you want to increase your active speaking ability, focus more on grammar and do speaking exercises with some natives.
Man, I should get back into VNs. Have read like two in the last three years. Even planned to reread 星メモ. Spent most time on Touhou, which consists of mostly untranslated stuff and has more content than anyone can consume in one life, or general gaming, which is an interesting experience in Japanese because you often don't have the time to translate like in VNs.
Anyway, enjoy the ride with LB. That game touched me fundamentally back then, so I'll fondly treasure it forever as part of my own history that made me who I am.

I'm only missing UFO, then I have 1cc'ed every game. Me not doing UFO lunatic is kinda a meme though, given that I'm whining about it for so long now. UFO is a nightmare.
