      CRAZYNUGGET 26 you would say that, until you spooked a dumb ankylosaur, or a group of stegosaurus. Just because they are herbivore does not make them harmless to us. Look at elephants. Sure, they can be friendly and tamed. But they can also cause a lot of damage and lives lost, also.

    • @mezo4010
      @mezo4010 8 років тому +1

      Ahlamkin Scientist studies show that most herbivore dinosaurus would be very peacefull,with the exeption of SOME ceratopsians and most ankylosaurs.

    • @Rhaenarys
      @Rhaenarys 8 років тому +1

      pedro henrique gazon where did you get that from? A herbivore back then would act like a herbivore: if spooked, ot threatened, it WILL attack. And if its big enough, it WILL cause damage. Lets ignore that fact, though, and lets look at OTHER harm, such as structural damage, which in turns causes injuries and fatalities. Stealing our livestock or crops, in turn causing hunger, which for the poorest, would cause death. Theres more harm than just if they were to turn on you, which is VERY possible for the very small brained dinosaurs that might see you as a threat.

    More like " 25 Dinosaurs"

    • @mezo4010
      @mezo4010 8 років тому +4

      Not even,25 mostly innocefensive pre-histoic cretures.becuse half of them are herbivore or harmless and othe half aren't dinos.there's like only 4 actual dinosaurs thatae teriing.

    • @Rhaenarys
      @Rhaenarys 8 років тому

      pedro henrique gazon being a herbivore doesnt make them harmless. Ankylosaur is a herbivore, but with a very small brain, believed to have been very aggressive is just even spooked. Stegosaurus is the same, only much bigger. Many might seem harmless because they are hervivore, but keep in mind, elephants are not exactly harmless to us.

    • @mezo4010
      @mezo4010 8 років тому

      Ahlamkin I won't respond the same thing again.

    • @Rhaenarys
      @Rhaenarys 8 років тому

      pedro henrique gazon same thing what? What you said, unless your comments are for some reason missing, said NOTHING about what I said, except herbivores are harmless. So basically what youre saying is you cant argue because you know you dont have an argument? Because repeating what you said, from what I can see, wouldnt even be a reponse.

    • @mezo4010
      @mezo4010 8 років тому +1

      Ahlamkin I never said herbivores are harmless.I just said most herbivore dinosaurs wheren't very hostile,with the exeption of ankylosaurs,some stegosaurs and ceratopsians.

    You know what's really scary? Some scientists believe they might still exist. Think about it. 90% of the ocean is unexplored, there are some unexplored remote jungles and forests in Africa, Asia and South America. Who's to say that we didn't miss something?

    • @list25
      @list25  10 років тому +16

      Just as long as they stay there, im happy lol

    • @dahakaguardianofthetimelin4780
      @dahakaguardianofthetimelin4780 10 років тому +14

      Doubtful, had any of those still existed they would spread out and take over known territories for they would be far superior species to most of their mammal counterparts, there was a reason they ruled over the whole Earth, most of them were evolutionary superior to most other species around also for such great animals to survive the amount of carbon dioxide in the air would need to be significantly higher than it actually is. The possiblity that a species of dinosaurs still exist and does not prosper so well that it moves into inhabited or observed territories is preposterous, it could easily dominate the local species, there is no reason for them to stay contained in some dark unexplored area of the world...

    • @ArcherBro
      @ArcherBro 10 років тому +6

      Ah, but you make the false idea that they breathe carbon dioxide. They would most likely breathe what everything else does. Not only that, nature has been shown to be able to balance itself fairly well. But there is so few pieces to this puzzle found as it is. All we have on their biology and habits is educated guesses. The universe is full of secrets just waiting to be found.

    • @dahakaguardianofthetimelin4780
      @dahakaguardianofthetimelin4780 10 років тому +2

      His Archer I don't make false ideas, the main reason that organisms like insects and reptiles grew so large was because of larger consistency of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. There would be no reason for an animal to evolve to be so large and so dominant for no reason, the odds are that the largest we know are the largest this period and this atmospheric consistency is going to give us for now. The way the nature balances things out as you've pointed out was it made animals smaller to balance the changes in atmosphere and to make them more adaptable and more capable to survive in the present conditions, to say that there could be dinosaurs who possess completely opposite traits to dinosaurs is an argument that ultimately defeats itself.

    • @Nordanix
      @Nordanix 10 років тому

      It's more logical to find creatures like these in the ocean, rather than the jungles and forests, these animals are rather big and easier to see than something in the ocean deeps.

    Honestly? I think we would manage if some of these still lived, if anything i think that would have been good. If they kept us from settling too agressively, and give us pause in some of our "business" decisions, like cutting down massive important life-giving forests for a bit of wood.. And if we settle in less areas, keeping our population down, we have a much smaller need of taking all these resources, without letting it regrow or recover, effectively killing the land. Just a matter of time until we are out of resources.. That and it would be amazing to see some of these magnificent and majestic creatures.. But i think i got into too much detail with this comment.. Welp, i do not have the heart to remove it. :/

      Nicky Mejias The most dangerous land animals today are in fact Planteaters; think on creatures such as Elephants, Rhinos & the Hypos which kill more ppl in Africa than any other animals inc all the preditors, all run from these large dangerous planteating Mammels so why not the far larger planteating Dinosaurs which like Hypos & Rinos on Steroids, they'd have to be with such Preditors around!

    Have to stop at 4 and a half minutes. NONE of the oceanica reptiles are known for sure to have gone extinct. We just havent found any to prove they havent. HOWEVER, given the vast amount of ocean yet to be discovered, it is very wrong to assume they are in fact extinct.
    Sorry, just had to correct that bit where you said for sure they are extinct.

    • @stevewarren9316
      @stevewarren9316 8 років тому +1

      Ahlamkin considering there was a cataclysmic event that killed off 99% of all life its very likely they died. Think about it ash spread across the world blocking off sunlight. Plants died. Then herbivores died. With no herbivores carnivores turned on each other, and last time I checked there's only so many animals at any given point in time. It's extremely likely there were a few that survived longer then the rest, and then died. None of the animals listed would have been able to adapt quick enough to the no light zone.

    • @Rhaenarys
      @Rhaenarys 8 років тому

      Steve Warren I am very well informed on the events that took place after the collision. Regardless, scientists across the globe all agree its unlikely, but not impossible.

    • @tradingpost2472
      @tradingpost2472 8 років тому

      Ahlamkin They are all extinct & we'd know for sure if they wern't as they would live near the surface as air breathers, if all the Amonites have gone then like the none Avian Dinosaurs & Pterosaurs they most certainly have gone extinct, that all these Animals are gone 65 mya is 💯% fact! Just because we have Ocean & plenty of it means nothing concerning the large air breathing creatures that like the Dinosaurs realy have disapeared from this planet 65 mya! still have JP & JW to fall bk on with CGI ay?🐊

    • @Rhaenarys
      @Rhaenarys 8 років тому

      Trading Post yea...like I said, Ill take the word over every scientist on the planet that agrees NOTHING is certain, considering. I didnt pull that argument out of my ass, after all...

    • @ink1929
      @ink1929 8 років тому +1

      Ahlamkin I'm sorry but none of the marine reptiles are still alive. "What if they're in the deepest pats of the sea" those parts are too cold and the pressure would kill all the reptiles on the list, also they're surface animals, not deep water animals
