- in this video I take a trip down to Royal steering wheels to get a custom steering wheel on the golf r! long over due and so simple.. don't know why I waited so long!
FYI.. I payed £165 for my particular design and £15 for fitting So very reasonable imo.

Amazing work and great video well done, been looking at the work for a while now, spoke go Jack today but he said they don't do carbon which broke the deal for me. Who knows I might wake up tomorrow and change my mind after watching this video

Know this is a old video and have the m3 now but good picking man,that wheel looks nice,love the way you picked it,the only thing i would do is put a blue 12oclock triping to match the instruments.But just perfect man,really nice.

With the thicker perforated are you getting any issues with the paddles? I’m thinking of getting them to do Alcantara over my OEM 7R leather for thickness and then being able to revert back at any time but not sure about thickness with the paddles!

A shiny leather steering wheel really does age an interior, and as we all know its just a build up of grease and dirt which builds up over time but I found a cheap fix - put some kitchen de-greaser on a kitchen towel or microfiber and give the steering wheel a good aggressive clean and it really does bring it back to the original matt finish. Its not something I do too often as it will eventually rub away the dye but it really does transform an old steering wheel for little to no cost...

I would ceramic coat that steering, if possible. Probably keep from getting dirty and stained.
Yeah cracking idea. I am going to ceramic coat my tyres tomorrow. No more wear.
