I'm disappointed with today's RDX boxing gloves, they used to be fantastic quality Cowhide Leather at amazing prices. I still own a pair of their cowhide gloves, they've lasted. I'm now looking for another company who will do cowhide at a great price & as good as my old RDX. Maya Leather! What is this?!? Shouldn't be allowed to use the word LEATHER iin it! IT ISN'T LEATHER!!!! It's Faux leather, which at least that means FAKE LEATHER! RDX know how to make a great glove, but they're now going down hill on their mid range gloves.
What's your price point? They still have plenty of models that are real leather, they just aren't the cheap ones.
@tyleredwards9382 I've been checking RDX website for awhile now & no leather gloves under £100 have been in stock. I wouldn't fancy paying £83 for Maya leather. There are a pair of Aura T17, Maya Leather reduced from £48 to £42. One of the guys had a pair at the gym, they did not last too long; not the gloves for me. Then I see Vegan Leather! What the poo is that? & it's cost is steep, for faux leather gloves. Everything that was good is sold out & I don't think they will be in stock again, it looks like RDX are making way for lower material grade gloves & having you pay £130ish upwards for real leather. RDX are now beginning to slowly go down to the Sports Direct type boxing gloves (Lonsdsle, Everlast PVC). Some might be happy to pay £80-£90 for Maya or Vegan Leather, not me. Hopefully the interior foam & protection is still of good quality, at least that would be their saving grace.
Well if you bought precovid, the price of everything that's good quality skyrocketed up. I'm not sure your preference of style of glove but I've owned too many to count over the years and can make some recommendations for under 100 dollars for genuine leather. If you like pillow style with good wrist support check out fighting freedom gloves for 99 bucks, if you like more of a punchers glove both superior and vali sport make great leather gloves for around 80 bucks if you like a more protective glove the venom elites are nice and right around 80 bucks usually. Hope this helps

Can you use this on heavy bag??
Yes 👏🏼 My gym has punching bags and heavy bags and I’ve been fine using these. Please remember I am new, so my throws and force may be different than yours, but I do enjoy these gloves.
