Really cool! Just a kid fishing his hometown streams to proving it in a tournament a few short years later!
Also, I love the trickworm-I use the Green Pumpkin Mag Finesse Worm (also by zoom) for river smallies and they eat it up.
Something about those simple zoom worms they just cant resist!

Thank you! I appreciate the kind words! The zoom magnum finesse worm is one of my favorite wacky rig baits. Do you use it on a wacky rig or Texas rig? Your comment is making me want to try it on a Texas rig.

@@AaronsOutdoor1 - neither--I use it on either a Neko rig or an offset weedless jighead with a EWG... or weightless on the EWG just like for a Senko or any other stickbait.
It's funny, with so many ways to rig a worm, the Texas Rig that so many people grew up on has become the forgotten setup!
Watching you catch them on the traditional Texas rig makes me want to give it a try next time I'm on the river... I like the Green Pumpkin when the water is crystal clear but do like the black when there's a stain.
Though I will say, the larger Nikko Hellgrammite in natural color has become my go to on the river!
I also fish a little lighter than you--I go with a 1/16 oz jighead (for either the Mag or the Hellgrammite) and I read your response to another saying you were tossing a 1/8 oz bullet... I tend to get hung up too often when going heavier than that.
