Der VideoGucker It's something performed in the villages of Austria for different occasions which are rooted in the past but still performed today. It usually comes with a village fest, loads of alcohol and people just having a good time over something mutual over every generation (which is part of it's original purpose).
Okay am I the only one who knows that those guys are from Austria? (It would be as weird to think Canada and the US are the same because same language, next to each other etc. Not one is better than the other but well not the same either 😅)
Not the whole of Germany is Bavaria, actually alot of germans are pissed that most of the world sees Bavarian culture as German culture (altough Bavaria is pretty awesome)
I am dual citizen US/German lived in Germany many yrs I have never seen This in real life. never will zzz Americans and other parts of the world always tend to see Germany like this..like they see Irish people like little green leprecarns with green beards saying OI Oi...this is Bavaria not overall Germany. please enough. aaaaaaahhhhh
Michael Petrov actually this dance has been performen in the city of Traun, Austria, so it's neither. But I get your point concerning Bavarian things being labled as totally German :)
What a bullshit... there are no military roots. Do you just speak german. I think NO...Traditionally it was neccssary to chop wood for heating in winter. This military attitude/interpretation of german tradition STINKS
Excellent I love Austria and all there wonderful traditions. I always take my holidays in Austria such lovely friendly people.

Martin Neumann Perhaps he has southern German roots.
Pls don’t be as stupid as all the others americans... this has nothing to do with Germany hell not even with Bavaria... it’s Austrian!
Very manly dancing and lovely music. Interesting to see how the tradition differs from the UK.

These guys got the moves!
Molto divertente.
Fantastisch
Awesome - der moderne Schuhplattler !

Deforestation must take forever in Bavaria if this is how they handle a single tree.
ha ha , those smart people are not going to make a wasteland of their countryside.
@@williamwaterford8114 They won't themselves, but they'll let their imported citizens do so, as well as any and everything else they want.

Deditt … you are right, Traun is in Austria. But nobody worries about making that distinction, especially after a few beers.
Can you believe these guys almost took over the world?
hard to blame you for thinking that. but i think we are not the only ones with funny traditions
Max Schultz Don't burn me up over a small WWII joke Max, i had no idea you would get so Füherious over it.
Rafael Pereira well seeing as this is Austrian not German do elaborate
Then its pretty clear i cant say the difference between Austria and Germany.
Not the whole of Germany is Bavaria, actually alot of germans are pissed that most of the world sees Bavarian culture as German culture (altough Bavaria is pretty awesome)
