    Please please be careful with Eva around those blind cords, babies her age regularly strangle themselves on them!

    • @MsCherade9
      @MsCherade9 7 років тому +9

      gavbkk83 Ireland It happened to a friend's toddler last year. Eva was playing with the cord at the beginning of the video and it's had a big media campaign about the issue here in the UK over the past 18 months. It's not morbid, it's safe and it's something that vast majority of us never would think of.

    • @MsCherade9
      @MsCherade9 7 років тому +2

      gavbkk83 Ireland It makes these risks very real. She was 17 months old and into everything. It wasn't even at home, they were visiting her Mum's house, the wee one went to sleep on the bed, Mum and Grandma both thought the other was paying attention to the baby, it took less than 5 mins between one of them looking in and other finding her blue. The cord had been tied up out of the way but had dropped low enough for her to pull and play with. It was a complete accident but one that occurs many times a year in the US and UK, especially when staying somewhere that isn't the baby's main home where everything is childproofed already.

    • @nickyl9613
      @nickyl9613 7 років тому +4

      totally agree, big campaign here in nz too,

    • @machupicchushow

      I think its an important comment, the blinds cords really are dangerous. So it the 2nd story window sill right off the bed. The house is not "toddler proofed" but as long as parents are right there, I think its ok fwiw

    It is great if you can split time between countries, but i must be a lot of work hauling a entire family around. I head back to Ningbo tomorrow. Haven't been there in 3-4 years. I'm sure it has changed quite a bit.
    I am up in Dongbei now and the people here are on average much bigger and heavier than other parts of China. I'm seeing a lot of obese children here. not as many as the USA, but a growing number every time I return to China

      同感。。。。出國啥也不想,只想中國的食物,看著漢堡三明治披薩就想吐了。這輩子到死再也不想會吃。終於下定決心租一個有廚房的房子,開始自己煮中餐,結果我去,,,中餐的食物味道引來了周邊鄰居的好奇心,斗看到問我,到底在煮甚麼食物,我問怎麼了嗎?回答是味道太香了。讓他們杠吃完又想著吃。可是又不知道臥在煮甚麼。。。好吧!假日我賣東西去你家煮,讓你們吃看看。火鍋。。。本來是給一家人煮,結果引來了另一家也來吃,吃掉我快兩百美金。打掃我不管了。我出錢出力,不幫忙打掃。老外吃到好像幾輩子沒吃過東西似得。連火鍋湯底都不放過。還跟我約下一次假日再煮。趕快回答下星期我加班。我自己煮個飯有這麼難嗎?😂😂😂😂

    Very good video man. You should know only poor countries use wood and plaster board to build most civilian housings, China is so wealthy so we only use steel and concrete to build our houses and apartments, just because it is so durable and reliable, but just a bit hard for electricians doing wiring though.

    • @Jiangnanrenjia
      @Jiangnanrenjia 7 років тому +1

      哥们,多了解外面世界再说you should know不迟,发达国家如美国、加拿大、日本等大量建设木结构房屋肯定有你不知道的优势,中国10多年旧的房子好多破败得象80年旧的老房子,没有那么durable, 中国混凝土房子建设成本(不计土地))在杭州也就2000元一方,根本谈不上wealthy, 再说中国平均水平离wealthy国家还差得很远。哦,世界第一幢用钢筋混凝土建设的高楼(16层)于1903年在美国辛辛那提建成,现在还在使用。

    • @hujiaming6151
      @hujiaming6151 7 років тому +2

      You are completely wrong LW, it is you need to learn more, not me.
      You are the one frog sitting in the bottom of the well for too long! There is no advantage in wooden framed civilian dwellings, but with shit loads of disadvantages, like not fire resistant and not warm in winter etc.
      The standard meaning of wealthy has nothing to do with NUMBER of money, but actual resources in use. That put China as a real wealthy nation than those fake western countries. Actually the reason of people in developed countries use wood to build civilian houses is to make the cost low, if they use steel and concrete the price will be twice as wood framed dwellings, and that is absolutely NOT affordable.
      Those houses in China aged to 10 years may look old but they are able to withstand some natural disasters if they are built in the correct way, like tsunami caused flood. That is why almost all steel and concrete buildings survived Japan's tsunami in 2011, but all wooden houses became ruins around still standing S&C buildings. You could watch related youtube videos yourself.
      You really should get some facts before you speak anything LW, your information about developed countries is really obsolete, you are such a western dog.

      说话文明点,这里是和谐的社区,就事论事,不要骂人,我就骂你一次,你SB是不是欠骂?
      没有东西是完美的,木结构当然有缺点,但是也有优势,不要一棍子打倒。你没有在北美房子住过,就没有发言权。木结构防火是不大行,但是不意味着安全不行。其实美国房子众多烟雾报警器让住户可以及时发现火情,小房子逃生很快,跳窗都可以,房子烧掉,用保险赔偿重建一个新的就可以。反之,混泥土房子阻燃是好,但是杭州3000万豪宅一家四口是怎么死的?过火后的混泥土房子谁还要住?至于抗震就不说了,去查一查汶川地震情况吧,再比较日本地震情况。
      说道木结构冬天不保暖,我就知道你Y在放狗屁!不懂瞎说!
