    Not breaking motors is mentioned but not explained. What I meant is that I am not winding hard so that I won't break a motor during the video. When winding more aggressively, to 90%+ maximum turns, motors usually can be flown five to six times and then they will likely break during winding.
    The flight shown in the video of about one minute and 38 seconds, was not a very good one. Best that day was 2:00 and most were about 1:48-1:55. This is day one of testing a demo helicopter and significant improvement in flight time is expected once the best motor length, weight and average linear density is determined through lots and lots of test flights.

    wow! nice helicopter! is that a custom-built helicopter or is it from a kit?

      Built from Freedom Flight kit parts left over from the 2018 Chinook Heli builds. Fuselage and design layout is my own; but pretty simple and similar to what others have done in the past.
