    In the beginning I didn't love my Boox so much because I didn't know how to use it properly. Thanks to you, Voja, now I know the amazing device I have.
    The only downside is that now my Remarkable is catching dust somewhere in my room.

    Is there any way to use text-to-speech on a document while also making notes on that same document?

    super useful! no need for audible. My only wish is that you'd post these more frequently :) but I know you have lots of other content to edit and post so no worries - cannot wait for the next one

    Oh, this feature might make me get the note! I really want to read Japanese books more and I really want text to speech as sometimes my reading comprehension is a bit low.

    I'm trying to use the my text to speech function on my Nova 3 to read Epub files. However, it stops reading at the last word of every page, then I have to exist and make it read again (pressing pause or play does nothing). Is there a setting for it to continue reading the next page? I can't find any settings to fix this, it's driving me crazy.

    In original note app of Boox device, the first letter of a sentence is never capitalized. It is annoying to fix every time. Is there any solution or am I just missing some setting? Thank you.

    Hi Voja! Just an idea. I love to get the most of my Boox specially when it comes to productivity. Have you thought about doing tutorials on bullet journal on Boox?
    Thanks again for your videos. Always looking forward to the next one. Specially Boox...

    How does one speed up the rate of speech? The way you did it does not change the speechrate in the text.

    Hello, thanks for the video. Can you actually change the dictation language to Spanish or another language? Also is it possible for the book note air to transcribe voice notes in the handwriten notebook? I bought a note air 4c for dictation note taking but if its only in English (or Chinese or Japanese) it is not much use to me

    Thanks a lot. Gboard makes really a difference to the speech recognition. And the most amazing thing I discovered is that you can switch languages in the middle of a sentence. Only thing I can't find is how to change the commands to English because for some reason mine are in German even though my system language is set on English, because I didn't like the German translation. Anyone out there who knows how to change the command language?

    • @Zaches27
      @Zaches27 3 роки тому

      I would be interested in how you switch the language in the middle of the sentence INTENTIONALLY? My system language is set to English even so I speak German (but as you said: the translations are just too bad). It happens to me, that the language quite often suddenly switches back to English - especially when I'm leaving the document or entering the multitasking mode or when I just stop recording for a moment...

    I like the Gboard app and it supports Dutch for speach to txt also. I have a new Boox Onyx Air 2 plus and there is no APP STORE on it, only a PLAY store. Is there a way to get the adjusted Gboard on my tablet, because when I download the one from the play store I miss the handwriting to text and the themes don't look good.

    When can we expect the deep Supernote guide? Will there be a Supernote guide?

    • @MyDeepGuide
      @MyDeepGuide  3 роки тому +1

      Well, the Supernote platform is much easier to use and understand than the Boox platform. Plus, most of the stuff has already been covered in the in-depth review of the A5X. I'll wait and see if there is need for it or not.

    Thank you so much for these videos. What reader app did you say you are uisng to do text-to-speech? I can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance!

    • @MyDeepGuide

      It is the default Boox reader called NeoReader.

      It's the default reader on the Boox platform. It's the one that opens your eBooks and documents automatically.

    Hi Voja. I cannot get speech to text to work. I followed all your instructions but whenever I tap the microphone on the Gboard it just blinks and I do not get the "speak now" prompt like you do. I made sure voice typing is enabled and the device has permissions to use the microphone. I am out of ideas. Any advice?

    Hi Voja! Can I use the text to speech in kindle app as well?

    • @MyDeepGuide
      @MyDeepGuide  3 роки тому +2

      This is something that is an app dependant functionality. I don't use the Kindle app that much, so I don't know, but if the standard Kindle Android app has that functionality, then yes, it should be able to do that here as well, as it is the same app and will have identical functionality.

    Hi - I’m on Note Air v3.1 and the TTS speed settings are not sticking. In the reader, the fastest setting is not fast enough for me. So when I go to the settings, it allows me to pick a much faster speed using the slider. But when I return to the reader, that new setting doesn’t port over. Can you see if you are seeing the same issue? I think it’s a bug.

    Hello Voja, first of thank you for all amazing work that you do on the enotes subject. I have watched a lot of your videaos to learn and to help make my choice of device. As a result I am now learning how to work and play with onyx air - fits my perfectly but one thing that I can not get working is speech to text;( Can you check if all is OK on your device? Maybe latest update is causing it or am I doing it wrong - I followed you video instructions but the mic button only flickers and does nothing:)
    Can anybody help?

    Hi Voja, love your videos. I've been following your guide and making some of the changes you are suggesting. One thing I noticed in this video was that I couldn't hear my Text-to-Speech. I figured out it was because I turned off media sounds during ch. 01. So I turned them back on.. Did I fix it the right way or was there another step I'm missing? *using the note air.

    • @MyDeepGuide
      @MyDeepGuide  3 роки тому +1

      You did it the right way. For me it was the volume of the media sounds that i adjusted in the video, but either way, speech volume is considered as "media" and is controlled that way.
