Just my own simple thoughts. Trauma can destroy you or can create better insight and character in the long run. You can relate to others that have PTST. Reaching out to them will promote your healing. I believe when you reach out to others with your inner feelings it will be amazing how much better you feel. Sharing is very important and lets those with PTSD feel less alone. You are a good person and you and Mike are blessed.
I can absolutely relate and have been crying listening to this. My little shih tsu, Joy, has been a blessing from God. I will pray for you. God knows all your pain and loves you.
I get it…. I was just 8 years old when I went through some terrible trauma and it involved a lot of blood. 🩸 For the rest of my life I have been traumatized by the sight of blood, especially if it’s a great deal of blood. I am now 64 years old. For a while I was able to block out the event and not think about it and dwell on it every single day. But it came back with a vengeance, in my 30’s and even now I still see it, can remember every little detail, the fact that I got no help dealing with it from my parents or anyone, I will say God helped me more than anything or anyone. Praise to God almighty! 🙌🙏🏻🥰 PTSD is a lifelong struggle and you never fully recover from that trauma. 😢
