I'm not a backpack person and usually carry a purse with me, but I wanted something that was easier to carry and less carried over the shoulder. I bought the smaller size, but it holds 2 water bottles, snacks, a couple of light sweaters, and a bunch of other small things. I like that the opening is in the back, great for travel.
I use the LYXBAG as a work bag and have had no issues. It's a comfortable bag, has lots of room, and doesn't lose its shape. That being said, I also take care of all my bags and don't carry water bottles, pens, keys, or anything that could damage the interior.

a lot of LV purses are made with one sheet of coated canvas, so it wraps around and becomes the front and back of the purse. So (for soft bottom purses at least) you WANT the LV to be upside down on the back, because that means it's genuine :)

Louis Vuitton does not use solid brass any more. I have an authentic LV pouchette accessory and the d rings have turned silver where the strap has worn the plating off. AA means it was made in France as for the letters first and third digit means the week of the year the bag was made & second and fourth digit mean the year it was made. AA3009 translates to "Made in France 30th week of 2009" meaning around the fourth week of July. It seems by the code your bag is real bc LV change the way they put the code in 2007 so it would go with the year your bag is 2009 (before the numbers would mean month and year but now they mean week of the year and year made).
