Would chocolate brown thread ever be used on a LV monogram bag? I recently purchased a bag "gently used" and noticed it has the iconic mustard color thread everywhere except the top leather trim of the bags opening is stitched with chocolate brown thread. Any input is valued!

i have a question about a very old vintage sac plat (from the 80‘s).
it has no interior pockets, no d-ring and no leather tag (the louis vuitton made in france thing) just a little fabric tag on the side, data code 833.
ive done some research and found a chat in a forum where multiple people said that its real and that the very old sac plat version was done that way, is that true? can anybody give me more info about that? ;)

Louis Vuitton does not use solid brass any more. I have an authentic LV pouchette accessory and the d rings have turned silver where the strap has worn the plating off. I have also seen many authentic LV bags with the alignment off and the stamping off set. Unfortunately their bags to not match their reputation now days. I will happily purchase a great quality replica bag and save $1000’s and have the same quality. That’s just my opinion. 😊

a lot of LV purses are made with one sheet of coated canvas, so it wraps around and becomes the front and back of the purse. So (for soft bottom purses at least) you WANT the LV to be upside down on the back, because that means it's genuine :)

I would like to confirm if its genuine. The product code is AA3009. I hope the price i got is worth it. Thanks
AA means it was made in France as for the letters first and third digit means the week of the year the bag was made & second and fourth digit mean the year it was made. AA3009 translates to "Made in France 30th week of 2009" meaning around the fourth week of July. It seems by the code your bag is real bc LV change the way they put the code in 2007 so it would go with the year your bag is 2009 (before the numbers would mean month and year but now they mean week of the year and year made).

Not all LV is made in France. LV is based in Paris but their products are made in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, and even the USA. In fact most of their all leather men's goods are made near the source of their brilliant hides in Italy. sooo its not uncommon to find a bag stamped "made in spain" just under the official stamp of "Louis Vuitton Paris" no fail here!
There is nothing wrong with this fake. I mean just because the chain doesn't jingle haha, replica bags are much cheaper than the authentic ones, *topluxs* makes them ideal for those on a budget but still looking for style.

However when I was doing the 'fakeheadphones.com' thing ... it wasn't just the point that companies did as much as they could to 'cover up' the fact that they were selling counterfeits, but the manufacturers were checking out such factories and what they found was disgusting.
For example, one manufacturer reported to me of a visit to a counterfeit factory, having low hygiene control with toilets and the floors around having tissue with blood and fices on them.
When I got my fake Lady Gaga headphones, they were covered in fingerprints. Goodness knows what those fingers had been doing!

LV, like any other luxury item, for many is a treat, a one off purchase, something that some people save for and savor ownership of. Its not about VFM but feel good factor, and nobody feels good about being ripped off!!
