I’ve been recently buying superfakes because, in spite of the price increases, the models that I like are getting sold out. And many of the people working at the boutiques are just rude and condescending, so I don’t wanna deal with that nonsense.

A lot of people who would usually strictly buy authentic say they’re starting to get into reps because LV quality is starting to get worse but the prices are continuing to increase. I seen someone do a comparison on a rep and auth NF bought and used for the same amount of time and the auth was wrinkling more than the rep.

I have 7 LV bags, wallets and key purse which I purchased many years ago. Although there’s no doubt that they’re all authentic ( bought half of them in France and half in Tokyo), I re-visited my items and checked the codes, symmetry etc. and I’m happy to say that they’re all “ genuine’.
I love that you don’t judge the people that buy fakes. I find people that claimed to be appalled about factories in China to be hypocritical . Those are the same people that have an iPhone, iPad, Galaxy phone ext. and won’t think twice about the parts that are made in factories in China among many other goods that we all enjoy. I agree with you about the zippers. You see a lot of UA-camrs raving about the zips on the regular canvas bags saying they're so smooth and zip up "like butter"! But I don't agree! The zippers aren't bad, but they could be a lot better! Especially for the money we're paying. 😒

Hey I bought a speedy 25 in store and 6 months later I was watching your video and panicked because you said about the symmetry at both sides of the zip. Mines isn’t completely symmetrical I went back to Louis Vuitton and they sent it to France for it to be checked as I wasn’t happy at all. The head of quality control sent me a letter to say that there’s nothing wrong with my bag, it’s a hand stitched piece and it doesn’t necessarily have to completely match x x
It's so annoying when people question the authenticity of your bags. One of my (annoying) colleagues said to me once "Oh, I like your bag. Is it a knock off?"...... I'm a high school math teacher and my husband is a SFC in the Army I think we have more to worry about than educating ourselves on the authenticity of LV bags if I bought it in store I ain't inspecting it because I know where I bought it and if I bought it on the streets it's because I used the money I saved to pay for school supplies for my students who are underprivileged..
So what if they "lack knowledge" of a brand/bag????? Its seriously not that deep....I'm a lv collector and don't expect others to have full knowledge of what I personally like. Since during u walk in mall or on the street no1 will stop u and check ur bag from 5cm distance to see these differences. These differences are mostly impossible to see from more than 1-2m away. Great video! I too am an LV collector, and like yourself, I love the quality, pristine detail, and long term wearability. My first messenger was purchased in 2003, the Bosphore PM and it's still going strong in 2019 and looking beautiful. I have probably some 25 pieces in my collection from messenger bags both canvas and leather, wallets, belts etc. Your very knowledgeable and have such screen presence and just delightful to watch. Like you I can spot a fake really quickly but also agree...LOVE YOUR BAG whether it's fake or real and mostly...ENJOY it.
Also if you apply a tiny bit of chapstick or zipper wax/candle wax onto the zipper while it is closed. It will make the zipper work waaay better. 😉 I put chapstick on all my zippers. It makes them work phenomal..

Hi ! Was there a time when LV Mono Vernis Perle Read PM Monogram.does not have a date code? My aunt and I were trying to authenticate an old Vernis white bag. The bag size, the monogram design is on point. even the stitches ,the color of the thread, the color of the inner lining. the lock,the hardware,the stamp,the zipper even the LV near the handle does not overlap.The only thing we noticed is that there was no date code. Accdg to my aunt that bag was given t her by her aunt in 2009 .But that *esluxs* was gifted to her aunt in 1998. There is only a slight discoloration but it looks fantastic.

My Neverfull Damier Ebene does not have great symmetry on the sides in terms of the pattern matching up on the seam. I didn’t notice it when I bought it from the LV store and now I wonder if people will think it’s a fake, especially if I ever sell it.
Yeah I've noticed that when I viewed the Neverfulls at LV STORE. They dont line up on the side with matching patterns but If I was you I wouldn't worry about what no one thinks. Real LV lovers knows about that.

I have serious issues with people knocking fakes so you are a breath of fresh air. I have just watched another person authenticating a bag and she says they have 5 stitches across the handle area, where you show 4 and they almost the same style, which is correct? The code, does it refer to weeks and year or months and year both can not be right? I've seen both being referred to in various videos.
Thank you for the great tips. And what a relaxed view on counterfits, I do like that. But at the same time, fakes don't come from nowhere. I kind of wish people made decisions from a more informed point of view I guess, that giving money to fake business might mean you give money to illegal business that do more illegal stuff than simply bags. I'd hate to think any of my consumer money ending up supporting trafficking etc. Of course, it's almost impossible to make sure you're an ethical consumer, but we can try. And of course people might not be able to afford the big brands (like me, hey), and not wanting to get a decent quality non-brand bag etc. But I think people should get fake things knowing in the back of their minds what kind of businesses they might be supporting, at least.

I always buy LV bags that are from the 90's. The bags I have bought in store from 2010-2016 are not as good quality, specially the ones that I have used a lot.

If you buy fakes it’s not legal because it’s copyright infringement. Fakes are made in sweatshops. I’m a LV girl but I use to buy fakes in my 20’s. Now that I’ve been buying real LV for years, I appreciate the quality difference AND because they aren’t cheap I only buy a new bag every 3yrs or so. Each time I carry a bag I can remember the fun of the purchase and marvel at how the bag has worn aka memories. Also there are loads of amazing stylish real leather European and American (North and South) bag makers that are cheaper so you can get a fantastic bag REAL bag you can afford. Don’t buy fakes. Buy the best bag you can afford.
i purchased a fake LV from ebay with real packaging one year for Christmas. It was the patent leather candy apple red Alma MM (or the largest size). It was sold out everywhere and my girlfriend at the time really wanted it. I didn't know anything about handbags and I saw it on ebay with the brown packaging as I already had belts, travel case etc during that time and all had the thick brown case. I actually spend $300+ more than the price just to get the exclusive bag/color combo.
On the canvas, the canvas feels thinner and has a popping sound when you touch it on the real bags. The fake ones have thicker canvas that feels heavy plastic. You will know by the feel of the canvas.
I don’t agree totally n never purchased a replica but these fashion houses make it impossible for those who spend 5K - 10K plus & even buy a bag without waiting for item because it’s sold out n frankly after buying originals for 30 plus years - the quality of originals have suffered n don’t look at good. After spending 6500 on an original I feel robbed as my earlier originals were made much better - so don’t feel bad if you end up with one ...! The designer houses have to up their quality if they are charging those big bucks..! My earlier bags from 1980 to 1999 are made absolutely with the utmost quality..! Thx
It's been months since I bought my *amzclothes* and it still looks the same as when I bought it. I have to admit that they did a really good job in this regard. The craftsmanship and durability of these clothes is truly impressive.
A friend once found a authentic LV at a Goodwill outlet bins and yes she had it checked by a reputable authentication company.Needed cleaning and some professional repair.But seriously she had jealous a-holes telling her it was fake because she didn’t buy directly from LV.

I think what matters is... Are the *esluxs* of good quality? Are they made from the same materials as the originals? If they are I hope the site never fails.

Sweetheart there is no difference between the CC’s buckle on the *esluxscom* and real one. You’re seeing things that aren’t there. If a professional came in and told you the CC was a real, you’d probably agree.
Great video! I too am an LV collector, and like yourself, I love the quality, pristine detail, and long term wearability. My first messenger was purchased in 2003, the Bosphore PM and it's still going strong in 2019 and looking beautiful. I have probably some 25 pieces in my collection from messenger bags both canvas and leather, wallets, belts etc. Your very knowledgeable and have such screen presence and just delightful to watch. Like you I can spot a fake really quickly but also agree...LOVE YOUR BAG whether it's fake or real and mostly...ENJOY it.
Also if you apply a tiny bit of chapstick or zipper wax/candle wax onto the zipper while it is closed. It will make the zipper work waaay better. 😉 I put chapstick on all my zippers. It makes them work phenomal..
I might try this because my LV bag can't close anymore after my daughter borrowed from me, I went to LV store and they said going to cost me $250 for fixed the them 🙄🙄

Hmm I think it's good for people who want a taste of designer that can't afford the designer prices. LV, Gucci etc aren't gonna be short of a penny & it's not like they're missing out in the way that it's snatching custom as the people buying those products if taken away aren't necessarily gonna go buy the designer ones. Hi ! Was there a time when LV Mono Vernis Perle Read PM Monogram.does not have a date code? My aunt and I were trying to authenticate an old Vernis white bag. The bag size, the monogram design is on point. even the stitches ,the color of the thread, the color of the inner lining. the lock,the hardware,the stamp,the zipper even the LV near the handle does not overlap.The only thing we noticed is that there was no date code. Accdg to my aunt that bag was given t her by her aunt in 2009 .But that *esluxs* was gifted to her aunt in 1998. There is only a slight discoloration but it looks fantastic.

Like you, I appreciate the workmanship of the bags & each bag is made with pride, with impeccable quality. The word fake is provocative, i swear i can hardly see a difference in my lv bags comparing to my friends i stayed hours seeing the difference even the code they have one and they have sworn that its fake and it is bc they have got it got like 50 -100$ + leather and dust bag and everything even the tags , it’s like made from Louis Vuitton but selled else where it’s crazy that’s why i praise having fake bc u get much cheaper for the same quality and i swear it’s been 8 years with her the purse haven’t showed any signs of torns and tear and the leather even better than mine the “authentic” it’s crazy how some companies can be Aaaaa+ and still today there is no difference and i even tried the technique you promoted in the video and still same. And that’s satisfying my friends can still sit there on a table feeling comfortable to put their bags for everyone to see bc trust me people would trash talk and now everyone thinks their like rich. My Neverfull Damier Ebene does not have great symmetry on the sides in terms of the pattern matching up on the seam. I didn’t notice it when I bought it from the LV store and now I wonder if people will think it’s a fake, especially if I ever sell it.
Yeah I've noticed that when I viewed the Neverfulls at LV STORE. They dont line up on the side with matching patterns but If I was you I wouldn't worry about what no one thinks. Real LV lovers knows about that.

Hai emma, i bought a speedy bandouliere made in France at LV store 3 months ago. The date code LA 0129 . And the initial LA represents made in USA. So, I'm wondering why the country code and the made in hot stamp do not match.

I’m not sure why I watched this except I really like your voice and I like seeing wear over time. Lol. I don’t care what the owner looks like I automatically assume every person carrying LV is carrying a replica. It doesn’t matter how “authentic” it looks. So thanks for the education on this.
I have serious issues with people knocking fakes so you are a breath of fresh air. I have just watched another person authenticating a bag and she says they have 5 stitches across the handle area, where you show 4 and they almost the same style, which is correct? The code, does it refer to weeks and year or months and year both can not be right? I've seen both being referred to in various videos.
Thank you for the great tips. And what a relaxed view on counterfits, I do like that. But at the same time, fakes don't come from nowhere. I kind of wish people made decisions from a more informed point of view I guess, that giving money to fake business might mean you give money to illegal business that do more illegal stuff than simply bags. I'd hate to think any of my consumer money ending up supporting trafficking etc. Of course, it's almost impossible to make sure you're an ethical consumer, but we can try. And of course people might not be able to afford the big brands (like me, hey), and not wanting to get a decent quality non-brand bag etc. But I think people should get fake things knowing in the back of their minds what kind of businesses they might be supporting, at least.

I’m a LV girl but I use to buy fakes in my 20’s. Now that I’ve been buying real LV for years, I appreciate the quality difference AND because they aren’t cheap I only buy a new bag every 3yrs or so. Each time I carry a bag I can remember the fun of the purchase and marvel at how the bag has worn aka memories. Also there are loads of amazing stylish real leather European and American (North and South) bag makers that are cheaper so you can get a fantastic bag REAL bag you can afford. Don’t buy fakes. Buy the best bag you can afford.
i purchased a fake LV from ebay with real packaging one year for Christmas. It was the patent leather candy apple red Alma MM (or the largest size). It was sold out everywhere and my girlfriend at the time really wanted it. I didn't know anything about handbags and I saw it on ebay with the brown packaging as I already had belts, travel case etc during that time and all had the thick brown case. I actually spend $300+ more than the price just to get the exclusive bag/color combo.

I have never received the 2nd/3rd tag with my purchases. They all seem to get them with their US purchases.
On the canvas, the canvas feels thinner and has a popping sound when you touch it on the real bags. The fake ones have thicker canvas that feels heavy plastic. You will know by the feel of the canvas.

I don’t agree totally n never purchased a replica but these fashion houses make it impossible for those who spend 5K - 10K plus & even buy a bag without waiting for item because it’s sold out n frankly after buying originals for 30 plus years - the quality of originals have suffered n don’t look at good. After spending 6500 on an original I feel robbed as my earlier originals were made much better - so don’t feel bad if you end up with one ...! The designer houses have to up their quality if they are charging those big bucks..! My earlier bags from 1980 to 1999 are made absolutely with the utmost quality..! Thx

It's been months since I bought my *amzclothes* and it still looks the same as when I bought it. I have to admit that they did a really good job in this regard. The craftsmanship and durability of these clothes is truly impressive.
A friend once found a authentic LV at a Goodwill outlet bins and yes she had it checked by a reputable authentication company.Needed cleaning and some professional repair.But seriously she had jealous a-holes telling her it was fake because she didn’t buy directly from LV.
