I got there 8 years ago just as they closed the Valley Road at 5 pm. But I got some views from the restaurant terrace. This summer I hope to go back and drive the Valley Road.
Thanks for this one ! Very detailed video !! Where the locations of each sightseeing spots are & a proper type of vehicle info ,toilet& gas & foods !! 👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶🏜💞
Amazing ride, guys!😁 What a view on Monument Valley. 😍 Great to see that it wasn't busy at all. Windy conditions are always some sort of problem for the audio.😏 The food looks great tho. 😍
Thanks. This video was helpful. I will be visiting Monument Valley next month. The road doesn’t look that bad. Looks like any 4 door car would do fine, so I don’t see the need to pay extra for an SUV rental.
Also there is a gas station, grocery store, museum and hotel at Gouldings which is directly across from Monument Vally entrance. I have stayed at the View and will be back this October.
Also in Kayenta the town 25 miles before you get there you will see the Burger King on the main road. Stop there to see a great exhibit about the World War II Navajo Code Talkers. Very interesting that their Navajo language was not able to be deciphered and was a great help in the war.
Also to see the restricted areas there is a table with small outbuilding in the parking lot. You can book online ahead but I did just go over and jump on a Navajo tour. Amazing formations you can't see on the 17 mile loop. Will cost about $100 but well worth it as I had a rental car I did not want to take into the valley and saw the Ear of the Wind, Eye of the Sun as well as many other incredible formations.
Fry bread was our reward after hiking 10 miles in Havasupai, glad you guys got to experience it along with the tacos 😆We haven't ever taken the drive out to Monument Valley but definitely want to check it out!
Hey you two, thanks for this wonderful video giving me an overview what we are expecting from visiting the monument valley! Did you rent a car or was that your own? And is this a "normal" car or an SUV? Thanks in advance!
I am planning to visit via Page - > Monument valley and then sedona to rest , I have super quick question is loop come to same point from we start and how much time it takes to finish complete loop and come out I have kids with me so just want to be in Sedona before 7
It is more or less a loop. You won’t necessarily end exactly where you start but it’s not far. It’s 17 miles. We stopped at each point and really took our time and it took maybe 3 hours for us. But if you wanted to go through it quickly you’d be able to as well. We’d recommend starting the day early. Hope this helps 😃
207 miles and about 3.5 hours straight but there is other things to see... the dinosaur tracks in Tuba City is good. You could for 30 miles both ways (and about 1/2 hour each way) from Cameron (rt89) go see the Grand Canyon Desert Tower
We were able to complete it in a Nissan maxima which is smaller. I would think you’d have no problem in a sienna. Remember to go slow though as there will be rocks. Hope this helps.
An suv will do just fine. It took us about 1.5 hours to get through it but we took a lot of photos and videos and took our time. You could easily get through this within an hour. Hope this helps
Have you been to Monument Valley? What was your experience like?

Glad this video helped! Yea we had a basic sedan. It got pretty bumpy in some areas so definitely go slow. Enjoy! It’s such a beautiful place 😊

This car was a rental and it was a Nissan Maxima which is not an SUV. Hope this helps! Enjoy your trip!
@@MrMrsK21 thank you very much!
I'm thinking to visit it next year on my summer trip. How many miles is Monument Valley road?
Its a 17-mile loop. Hope you enjoy!
@@MrMrsK21 I'm planning to do it by bike. 👍

Do you think the Toyota Sienna is safe to drive in the 17-mile scenic drive?
We were able to complete it in a Nissan maxima which is smaller. I would think you’d have no problem in a sienna. Remember to go slow though as there will be rocks. Hope this helps.
Can I take rear drive SUV (Nissan Armada) for this road? How much time it took to cover that 17mile?
An suv will do just fine. It took us about 1.5 hours to get through it but we took a lot of photos and videos and took our time. You could easily get through this within an hour. Hope this helps
@@MrMrsK21 went there but came from midway, it was so bumpy, i had kid and elders with me.
Enjoyed watching your video. We visited Monument Valley this year and had a wonderful time. Please check out our video on our visit.
Such a surreal and fantastic place! Will definitely check out your video. Thanks for watching 😃
Who’s the person in the rear seat?
Mom. She tries to hide when we record. Sometimes doesn’t do a great job 😆
@@MrMrsK21 Awww that's great. I hope she enjoys all the places to see.
