Why can’t people detect the difference between Mid-Century Modern and Contemporary? This was likely a fantastic MCM home. It has been transformed into a bland and boring, contemporary home. MCM has colour, wood, stone, brick, warmth, character, and of course is best complimented by actual MCM furniture pieces. They were not simply white boxes…quite the opposite. I can’t help but feel that this house has been ruined.
Wished to see that kitchen completely open at that price, not a pony wall blocking u in. And was hoping to see a lot more mid century colors and touches. Overall nice home but the design didnt compliment the era
Doesnt look mid century at all, just looks like every other remodel that u see on hgtv, all seem exactly the same. Beautiful house , but doesn't stand out at all to me
The home is beautiful, but not my flavor of mid-century design on the inside at all. All the fixtures and even the interior design looks cheap. Not a fan of this one at all. Too modern without the mid-century look. The windows were the only thing preserved for the look. Instead of the tile floors they should have went slate or polished the concrete floors.
I know it's 8 months ago but this house is not that great and is in no way a masterpiece. The people who know the least about houses are Realtors, banks and appraisers.
The last of the three, if he's working for the city or county, will probably appraise a two-bedroom 1 bath pier and beam like it was Buckingham Palace. An insurance appraiser would probably value a mansion like it was a 1 room shack.
Total deconstruct of MCM. Not a trace of Mr. Haver’s vision. 😢
Exactly..all up a nice house but any 50-60's ambience has completely gone
Beautiful home! There are a few Feng shui things that are not working. but they could be easily over come. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment!
Nice. I always loved mid century modern style houses.
Yeah me too! They have so much style and character!
WOW… what a house and I love mid century style ❤
Yeah the remodel came out great!
They completely ruined this house😑🤨
When remodeling this home they did not stay true to mid-century, modern style and aesthetic.
🤩

The price is defined by the location or the home style in this case ?
The price is defined by both. Home style, location, and current market.
@@paulgrzenia the style play a big part, here in Miami that home will be a Unicorn
Some things are best left in the past, and mid century homes is one of those things.
It's something to get used to, for sure. What gets me is this one is listed for nearly $1M.
Why?
Mid-century home style is far superior to anything we have created since.
Wished to see that kitchen completely open at that price, not a pony wall blocking u in. And was hoping to see a lot more mid century colors and touches. Overall nice home but the design didnt compliment the era
This style is interesting and different, but I'm having a hard time justifying a nearly 7-figure cost.
Same...be a justifiable number if they would have left it how it was
House completely ruined with renovation done. same. very close to a jail sentence.
Man, they really wrecked this thing. Too bad. A little restraint on the white paint would have gone a long way.

beautiful place but someone needs to add more authentic elements!

There's very little, if anything, left of MCM in this house. Too contemporary and extremely overpriced!
Thank you for the comment!
You destroyed that house by painting it "Flipper Gray".
I think they painted it a neutral color to appeal to more potential buyers. Paint is an easy fix!
It’s not gray and it’s beautifull
@@armandobarrera6081 It's a very cool home if you like mid-century modern!
@@paulgrzenia I love it
@@paulgrzenia I would replace the gray with white, off-white, or cream. Roof, gutters, and trim would be painted red. That would make it pop.
Nearly $1M and only 2 baths?
Phoenix is getting expensive because everyone is moving there

They should have kept the character of the home. The interior is modern tract home, no mid century elements retained which is sad.
Big disgrace to modernism. This property is destroyed...

Stop painting brick.
A ghost.
Jeez...what a disappointment. This could be any tract home anywhere. Blech.
