To prevent swimmer’s ear put equal parts of vinegar and rubbing alcohol in a jar use a dropper ( or a teaspoon works) to put in the kid’s ears after each time swimming. We grew up in Phoenix, Arizona swimming pools in nearly everyone’s yard. Our doctor told this to our mom years ago
Don't worry about missing things about your kids. I knew a totally wellmeaning someone that their child fell down and hurt their leg. Two days later, their child was still "complaining" that they were still experiencing some pain and ever so slightly limping around. The child was however, totally functional. They made an appointment for the doctor and lo and behold, the child had a broken bone. The parent felt so miserable that they had waited so long. It is amazing how fast those drywall hangers threw that up! (I watched your video yesterday, but was unable to comment, so I'm trying to recall what all I wanted to say.) I really like Walnut Creek products. We have an Amish community somewhat close by and have two Amish stores. One tend to be pricier, but they have the (tied) world's best donuts. (The other place is a little Sugar Bush that has an open house every year when the syrup is running...but those only are available then.) Anyhow we get our Walnut Creek items from the Amish stores. Are your kid's excited for the new house? I was thinking how "fun" it is to move and at this time of year, it throws the holidays off- then it dawned on me that you probably won't be decorating for Christmas (😔) and while it's one less thing that you need to deal with, I will miss it. The last time I moved was ten years ago today (11/16/22) so it's been a while since I had to deal with it!
I’m never shocked at colors you pick, everything is always so well put together and beautiful. Nick reminds me of my husband, “was it dry” “ no, lol not your usual but good”. have to love good men like that.
Your children are all so beautiful. I raised 5 so I know all about not realizing everything your children are into and insects bites. When my oldest was 11, she was sick with what I thought was a virus and she had been running a fever. I had no idea that she was so sick that her appendix had ruptured! My husband was active Air Force and gone alot. I felt so bad as a mother. She ended up being fine after 7 days in the hospital. Talk about feeling awful about not paying enough attention. Don't be to hard on yourself.
We just bought a house. We've been doing just paint, new flooring, fireplace change and shutters. It's been just 3 weeks and it should be 2 to 3 more weeks until it's finished. We've been staying in our second home that is an hour away. Looking forward to moving in once it is all finished. Everyone says it has really gotten done fast, but it seems like it's at a snail's pace. I don't know that I could do a full renovation like you all. Best of luck. I'm sure it will be beautiful once you're finished.
Sweetie, just get done what you can and don't worry about posting. What a triple stressful time this is. I hear ya about getting the car back! And here you are, doing so much work yourselves on the new house, 4 kids, holiday season, getting moved and the rental back in shape. You bet I'll be praying for you. God is in control, lean on Him. Not surprised about the cabinets. LOVE the color. Love to each of you, xoxTX
You always brighten my day with your sweet spirit! Don't stress to much. We will be here when you have time. Pray all goes well with the move and you get your vehicle back! God Bless!
Love all the progress on the new house. I use to babysit a little girl that was highly allergic to mosquito bites. She would scratch them so bad that they left scars on her legs. The only thing that ever helped her not scratch was Benadryl spray. I hope that works for Jaxon. Poor sweet boy ! I know they are miserable. We have mosquitos bad here in the summer too. Thanks for sharing your day!
You certainly have a busy schedule right now but it will all be settled very soon as your move in date gets closer now. I love how you always have the patience to teach your children while you are cooking something…I’m afraid I didn’t do that as well looking back now after watching your patience in your videos. Your new home is going to be ready soon and I can’t wait to see it all finished. You and Nick have worked hard to get where you are in life, so happy for you. We are off this morning for one of our favorite places… Walnut Creek! We have been going there since 1984 for our get aways. To us, it’s truly God’s country…I’ll be thinking of you this weekend 💓
Just a tip on Harpers food, you can smash the avocado and put it in ice cube trays and then after it’s frozen put in bags in the freezer! Then I would just mix a block of the avocado with whatever I was feeding them, like fruit or sweet potatoes! My babies loved it and it’s super good for brain development! 👌☺️
You will be in my prayers. And yes all mothers feel like there a bad mom, when we don’t see everything wrong with our children. I had three and I sure did. Thank you for sharing.
I’m so sorry about your sons leg! We’ve had similar things with my son. He pulled up his shorts one night to show me a “spot that bugged him” and it was a HUGE infected bump. I felt awful because I had no idea what caused it or how long it was there. He’s also had impetigo on his face. 🤦♀️. Little boys keep it exciting don’t they?!
Hi Lynnette and Nick...So glad that the workmen surprised you by having almost all the drywall finished. Hope its finished by the holidays 🎄but you do have family there you can enjoy and spend the holidays. Sometimes it feels like everything happens all at once and your head is spinning hoping it will stop.In the 50s when I was growing up my mom would never let me play and get dirty well this one summer I played a lot with the kids in the mud or sand and I got a lot of mosquito bites and they got infected and each bite had to be bandaged I looked so funny with all those band aides on me. Harper looks so cute in pink outfit and cutting her 1 st tooth. Hope the kids will be feeling better. Stay safe and well. The pork roast looks delicious. Oaklynn is growing like a weed.Mama's little helper. God Bless LuvYa! Bye from NE Ohio
Yes, no worries of stressing to put out videos. You guys are so busy with the children and reno and moving. Hopefully the medicine will work for your little man. Harper and Oaklynn are growing so fast. Our grand daughter Wren same age is a fussy eater till now too. Her sister Oaklynn would eat anything but now she is 3 she is fussy. We have another new baby grand child coming in March. Take care guys, lots of respiratory illnesses on the go now.
I put the Caraway pans on my Christmas list last year, after seeing your pans. Told my husband that was all I wanted for Christmas, the best pans I have ever had. HIGHLY Recommend, worth the price.
The cupboards didn't surprise me. I'm sure they are going to be beautiful. I loved watching my children's expressions when they had something for the first time😉
Is Holmes County near Cleveland Clinic.? My heart is still not normal and the Afib and blood clot just will not go away. So we traveled to Cleveland to see the specialist. As when we go next if possible we want to go to Walmut Creek!
OMG Lynette you and Nic are such a good couple, I can see the love, respect, trust and sense of humor. 💖 Harper reminds me so much of my sons, they were rolley polley, she is just a doll. I think there is something in the air. Murphy's Law, anything that can go wrong will. You are doing a great job. TFS 👍🥰
I recently received my second order from Walnut Creek. Even with shipping, their prices are very responsible. I got the Farm Dust! I also bought bologna and some cheeses. And popcorn! They also have my favorite chocolates at a really good price. I also got some peanut butter spread. I thought that would be better than trying to make my own. I’ve never had it, but I’m very curious to try it! I’m going to use it to make the sandwiches you talked about in a video. Including the Muenster cheese you said you preferred. And I used your code, so I thank you for that, as well!
My oldest had swimmers ear as well. He would have Several ear infections which one resulted in a burst ear drum. Ugh, when I finally got him to a pediatrician that properly diagnosed him, he told me to just put a couple drops of alcohol in his ears after swimming or baths. When 8 started doing that e never had a problem.
Lynette.. Sweetie just be kind to your self and do not stress out.Your videos are so nice I love them Prayers to all healing and God's help in making all things work out.God Bless Love from Kansas🥰 Love the cabinets not shocked
I forget my kids things too!! I keep forgetting to make an appointment for my sons sore tooth!!! Don't feel bad, I'm sure we can't be perfect all the time. And often they complain when it's nothing so sometimes we don't know when something actually happens. Our 4yr old is allergic to mozzie bites... his whole hands swell up
WOW! You have a lot happening at the same time! I can't believe Sawyer is eating solid food and drinking from a Sippy cup! I will pray a blessing of peace and tranquality over your family and for your household! Post when you can. I understand.
Your taste is impeccable, in my book. I have black in my kitchen with thick butcher block countertops, almost went with a sage green. Now I am wishing I’d gone with the sage! Enjoy your videos so very much. Watching your precious children grow up, you cooking up delicious meals, your family and life are inspiring. I am subbed whether you post once a week, once a month, whatever.
Finally was able to place my first Walnut Creek order today. Code LYNETTE saved me $10.16. Was pleasantly surprised how reasonably priced everything is.
I responded to you on IG when you posted about your son’s leg. My son had the same thing happen around the same time. My son’s did develop into psoriasis. He had to see a dermatologist for it. We are still battling it actually. So weird that happened to your son in Florida and my son in Tennessee. Love the progress on the house! It will be gorgeous! Don’t worry if you miss posting. We all understand.
LOVE Walnut Creek stores in Berlin and Walnut Creek. I tried to order from Georgia, but the response was that they were not taking new customers at this time. Might have been a timing thing so I will try again. Their ruffle potato chips are my all-time favorite of all the chips in the world. Your house is going to be stunning. I pray the Lord sends you all peace, comfort and healing for your sons' legs and swimmers' ear AND Harpers eczema. May He bless you for taking the time to bless us with your videos. They are the highlight of my week...no pressure...lol. You, Nick and your children are beautiful souls and shining lights for the gospel of Jesus Christ!!!
my son had the same issue with mosquito bites at Jackson's age and as they are of an age that they bath themselves unless they say something (they will say less as they get even older) it gets missed - I just had antibiotic and an anti itch cream mix them together on a plaster and stick it on the bite at night after he showered and they cleared up by morning with that combo - plaster so the cream stays on the bite and does not go all through the bed
Yes Mosquito bites. I’m in Southern California and for the last 3 summers my legs get eaten so bad actually ANY exposed skin…I have many scars on my legs. They itch so bad I don’t leave them alone. I’ve found lavender works for me as a deterrent but not 100%. I’m so desperate I’ll try anything. Also have a bug zapper which has minimized my bites. They were so bad 3 years ago I went to urgent care. They are brutal and obviously love your boy🙁🙁🙁🙁
Just wanted to add an aside. I had eczema myself and my Mom started washing all my clothing, bedding and towels and wash cloths with FelsNaptha soap and it really did help. I did outgrow most of it in my late teens. May God Bless you and yours as you finish your home.
Yam was the first I fed. It's nice you will be in your new home for Christmas. Praying for sure. Oaklynn has turned into a very capable little girl. Helping with the not cake cake bars. Glad the dr is helping with the bites. And now you have some time with the next little one beginning to entertain herself.
Hi Lynnette just catching up it was interesting to hear what you said about miss harper and her excema my youngest son had the same problem I breast fed him then he went on to dairy which was a big know know it made his rash worse so my doctor put him on soya milk he is 17 now and he has never had dairy I know every child is different I just wanted to tell you our story god bless my friend your new home sure is coming along 🥰🌹
Hey Lyn I think we are gonna have to get your baby a wig....lol....she is so happy until you start feeding her...oh how precious. Listen take some deep breaths and relax as it will turn out in the end and I for one get so excited when I see you have uploaded a video. I will add some extra prayers for this bunch of Towers...
It takes time just be patient remodeling is never in time hopefully everything will get done ...Tyfs with us ur new home ...It will be worth it once ur all moved in n u can appreciate all of it ur hard work ...🦋
heading up to pinecraft this week for the craft festival...one of the best...dont worry about posting...gracious, for two weeks after Ian we had no power or internet so had no clue who was posting...
Try a prebiotic for Oakland ezema you can get drops of it for babies to put in there bottle or food. I use it for me and will get some more drops for my son too. Your such a great mum Lynette
Lynette, you should have warmed up some Italian dressing and poured it over the pork roast ,or even made gravy to pour over it.. those small roast always cook quickly and remember when meat comes out it still continues to cook from the internal heat.. The house is really coming along! 😊
Do videos when you are able and don’t be stressed when you are really busy. Better to enjoy the process so it’s not a chore. Best wishes from Australia
My granddaughter will be 2 on the 28th and her favorite loves avocado’s. Daughter really just gave foods from table that they were eating too! She would eat salmon almost everyday.
Hi there, Don’t stress out. Enjoy the progress. 😊 Love the green cabinets. Hi Harper, you are getting so big. Lynn you differently have had a lot on your plate. Don’t let your stress and need to get out of the rental make you rush your choices for the new house. That landscaping is so beautiful. 😊 HiOE you are looking so pretty today. Prayers❤❤❤
Looks like what my niece gets when she gets bit by mosquitoes called cellulitis. Can be painful and cause fevers. I had it. Not fun. Glad you had it looked at. Poor kid.
Congratulations on your progress. How wonderful you have such a talented family to build to your liking. I just can't believe baby girl is already sitting up. They grow up just too fast! Lynette don't let him scratch those bites, his nails are full of poison.
Mom guilt…if is definitely real and never goes away. Relax, you can’t do everything. As soon as it became something, you noticed and took your son to the doctor. You seem to be a sweet and patient Mom. You are juggling a lot right now. Soon, it should ease up when you can finish the house, move in, clean the current place and you will feel better. Hang in there!
I don’t usually post but I just wanted to tell you I really really enjoy watching your channel. Your so down to earth Wishing you all the Best with your new house. No doubt it will look very nice.
I was so excited to see a video from you! The sneak peek of your kitchen cabinets was awesome! I LOVE the color❤️ I feel for you with all that’s on your plate right now😢 I hope everything stays on schedule and goes as smoothly as possible. I’m so excited to see you all in your new house! Have a blessed week🙏❤️
We just got back to North Central Florida last night from a wonderful two nights one full day visit to Sarasota just south of Pinecraft. We ate at Der Dutchman and visited lots of places along Bahia. I kept my eyes open but didn't spot you or any other people from your videos. We loved going to Detwiler's as usual, and left just as the weather got lots colder. Now I'm sitting with wraps on because we're down to 40 degrees this morning and Sunday we'll be heading north to central Ohio for Thanksgiving. One day at a time, everything will eventually get done. I had lots of memories of bites on kids' legs when I saw your son's leg. One time the school sent our boy home saying he had chickenpox. He didn't. We were in the Philippines having a flea infestation and he had over 100 bites that they misattributed. Oh, the adventures. And then another son with impetigo--over and over. He was a really good scab picker. Thank you for your videos, Lynette.
Don't stress yourself out about posting videos. We'll be around when you get to them. You've got a lot on your plate with the house and four kiddos.
I agree!
True 🥰😊
Exactly!! ❤
Agreed
It will be beautiful when finished! Take all the time you need! Don’t stress, we love you and the family! 💗💗💗♥️♥️♥️👼🏻🙏🏻💯👏🏻

Lyn, give yourself grace! If you have to skip a video or two we will survive! You have 4 kids, a busy life it’s all good from here!
Don’t stress over not doing a video. You get your house done first we all will be here when you can post again
Sweetie, just get done what you can and don't worry about posting. What a triple stressful time this is. I hear ya about getting the car back! Harper is so cute!!!
You certainly have a busy schedule right now but it will all be settled very soon as your move in date gets closer now. I hope that Jackson feels better soon.
Just a tip on Harpers food, you can smash the avocado and put it in ice cube trays and then after it’s frozen put in bags in the freezer! The new house is going to be gorgeous ! When you did those side views of Harper eating dinner she looks just like Nick lol !!!
I’m so sorry about your sons leg! We’ve had similar things with my son. He pulled up his shorts one night to show me a “spot that bugged him” and it was a HUGE infected bump. Wow look at the gorgeous Harper, she is now sitting up on her own 🙏😍❤️😍

Love the Green cabinets. I'm so tired of black and white kitchens!!!

I loved watching my children's expressions when they had something for the first time😉
My 3 year old has horrible eczema and I found a company called toups organic and got their lotion and balm and it's gotten better so quickly!
You’re doing well Lynette😎
Love the green. Goes nice with the white.❤
Your baby is so cute.she looks so much like her dad.

I’m not shocked. After seeing the previous bathroom cabinet you did in a previous house this is not surprising at all.

Not shocked at the cabinets…
Hi Lynnette just catching up it was interesting to hear what you said about miss harper and her excema my youngest son had the same problem I breast fed him then he went on to dairy which was a big know know it made his rash worse so my doctor put him on soya milk he is 17 now and he has never had dairy I know every child is different I just wanted to tell you our story god bless my friend your new home sure is coming along 🥰🌹

Like the carcass colour
We just finished a remodel on our home. Took 2 and half months. I am happy but emotionally exhausted. Good luck I know it will be awesome.
Try a prebiotic for Oakland ezema you can get drops of it for babies to put in there bottle or food. I use it for me and will get some more drops for my son too. Your such a great mum Lynette
No, not shocked, in fact, the cabinet color is very you, as I’ve come to ‘know’ you ❤
Lynette, you should have warmed up some Italian dressing and poured it over the pork roast ,or even made gravy to pour over it.. those small roast always cook quickly and remember when meat comes out it still continues to cook from the internal heat.. The house is really coming along! 😊
Do videos when you are able and don’t be stressed when you are really busy. Better to enjoy the process so it’s not a chore. Best wishes from Australia
❤Thanks for sharing Lyn!! Praying 🥰🙏🏻❤️
Thanks for sharing ♥️..🙏all is well and blessings to you and your beautiful family 🤗
Just found your channel a few days ago. Thank you for sharing while providing an opportunity to learn about the Mennonite's.
Poor kid.
If you like the winter/cranberry sprite, check out the cranberry ginger ale, its even better! I think it's Canada Dry brand! :)
The green is pretty and no I’m not shocked!! Lol
Praying everything goes back to normal & good!
Not shocked. Very pretty.
I don’t usually post but I just wanted to tell you I really really enjoy watching your channel. Your so down to earth Wishing you all the Best with your new house. No doubt it will look very nice.
Not shocked , thought you would have gone with navy blue instead of green
I was so excited to see a video from you!
The sneak peek of your kitchen cabinets was awesome! I LOVE the color❤️
I feel for you with all that’s on your plate right now😢
I hope everything stays on schedule and goes as smoothly as possible. I’m so excited to see you all in your new house!
Have a blessed week🙏❤️
My mom just had her kitchen remodeled and put in green cabinets as well. It turned out really nice! Excited for you guys to get all move and settled!
