Bronze Horseman, loved it. Will send you down many rabbit holes. Book 2 and 3 are even better. When finished with book three, her companion cook book "Tatiana's table" has an alternate ending that will tear your heart out and stomp on it. Loved them all.
@BookLoverAmanda The longer I go without reading one, the harder it is to go back to. I read 2 pages and loose all focus. It's like they're written in a foreign language 🫤
Getting books from the library does support authors. Libraries buy books and promote them, giving authors exposure. Talking about books on social media helps support authors. People often buy books based on reviews they've seen online. Using your library helps them get more funding, so they can then buy more books. Not everyone has a budget for books. Should only rich people be allowed to read? Starting a sentence with "news flash" is incredibly rude. You should rethink how you talk to people.
Does the way a book feels in hand make it easier and more enjoyable to read? I can read my Bible and hardback books, just fine, but I find myself reading slower when I read from a paperback.
I think maybe seeing the size of it makes me feel like I'll never get through it and my A.D.D. kicks in. I do much better not seeing the book or having any idea how much further I have to go. Most books also have too small font also. My eyes get really tired with regular print. I do miss reading physical books though.
Dont think its weird or maybe just me, but I dont enjoy reading physical books anymore. Since I started reading digitally a couple of years ago. I still read them since I like to annotate the Christian non fiction books, but my eyes wonder a lot😂 and frequently have to go and reread passages and it does not happen on kindle
@blessyourmemory Audio and ebooks. I can't focus with a physical book and the font is too small. Plus I read mostly at night, in bed and ereaders are lit up. I miss physical books, but I'm still reading:)
How cool to see a Francine Rivers book as a staff pick! Love that the library is promoting that!
@@CoraMabry I agree! I was surprised to see it!
I go to the library these days every Thursday. :) On my way in a few minutes.
It's a great habit to get into!
@ so fun
Yes, the snowy cover! I'm in the same mindset right now..... middle grade, historical, contemporary.... give me all the winter vibes. haha
It's the best time of year to curl up with a good book! Winter reading is my favorite. And yes, any genre will do, as long as there's snow!

Yippee - a library field trip with Stacy. :)
I need to go explore our other county library soon. That's my preferred one. I like how it's laid out better:)
@ ok. Just take us with you! 😊😊
@OldeAmericanSpirit Absolutely! We'll stop for coffee on the way😁
@@wanderingwithstacy 😁☕😁
Girl do let us know when you start the cooking channel or share it 🥰I am always looking for crock pot or casserole type dishes
Will do! I'm actually cooking chicken enchilada tortellini in the crock pot tonight!

@Peggymib OK, you've got me at companion cookbook!
I struggle sometimes with physical books lately too

I’m here for the cooking channel!
@BookLoverAmanda Thanks, I appreciate ya!
I need to go back to the library myself. I miss those days of just exploring the aisles. Thanks for sharing. 👍
It's my happy place! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! I'm always up for a library trip, even if's it just to look:)
News Flash...if you like the book that much buy an audio of it and actually support the author.

That's hilarious about your daughter and cd players. 😂
@insearchofwonder she's straight out of the 80's!
I can't read physical books anymore either, unless it's a reference book.
@@giax2031 Sad, but it is what it is🫤

@ Right now I’m reading Malice by John Gwynne and am halfway and I started it Christmas Day.
@@Twiceborn_by_grace Oh, I've heard that's really good!
@@wanderingwithstacy if you can get past the typos and mistakes. I’ve never had a book with this many errors.
@@Twiceborn_by_grace That's a shame🫤
Next time, put your device on airplane mode, then the borrowed copy will stay on your device until you switch the wifi back on.
I'll have to try that next time! I didn't realize that would work for audiobooks too:)

I'm totally with you on that, digital is much easier to read and hold my attention!
I’ve read The Diamond Eye. It was good but too long for me.
@glendaw5221 I was just thinking it could be condensed. I'd probably prefer watching a documentary on it😁
So u don’t read physical books only audio?
