I do not know why, but, until today I was never thinking about Turkish Bows as a bow I would like to Own one Day. To the Simsek Family: I am counting the Weeks until I can Order One of your Bows. The Quality and the ability to send just about any Arrow down range Is incredible. Armin showen by example, only a Very few Bows in His reviews that have the ability to do that. Unless your Arrow is in the shape of the Letter, "U", your going to hit where you were Aiming. I had an idea that Your Bows were going to be Special by the way Armin was grinning at The Simsek Family of bows in the Custom Bow Case. Once Strung and Drawn Back there was a gleam in Armin's eye: Oh yes, This is going to be a good Review!!. Word of mouth from Armin is a big deal for me. I have Total Trust in Armin's Reviews and Mr. Simsek I want to thank you for sending the Bows for review. The two of you have changed my desire to own a Premium Ottoman Bow.
Another pretty bow seems quite stable for being so short. Accurate reliable and seems to have a decent draw curve for being so small. I guess I just don't understand the price difference between the two. Is 2 inches less worth almost 200 euro more? For me I'd really have to try them both and see the difference in performance. I do really like them both kudos to the Simsek bowyer's they do a great job just would have to really weigh the options for the extra price. Especially for the bending fiberglass bows that can be purchased from Indonesia for half the price. Thank you for the honest review Armin as always we all appreciate what you do for us as a community! Good Day!!!
Greetings Armin! It's great to have your videos here, very informative! But I think the 60° angle does not go with all kinds of bows. For self bows it may be just fine. For bows with non-contact siyahs it can easily go up to 90°, but for some manchu style bows it can be just 45°.
Dear Armin, I have a question on the bending in the handle, can you elaborate a little bit on how this bending felt like, is it a positive feature for a bow or the opposite? Because I remember when you were comparing the AF Mongol/Qinghai fiberglass bow and Alibow Qinghai fiberglass bow, you made the comment on the insecure feeling of having bending near the handle, which I took it as a negative feature of the bow. Could you please explain a little if they are the same type of bending or not, and what are the differences between them. Vielen Dank!
Hi. Yes for me the bend in the handle is a negative thing, but depending how strong it it. I simply don't like the feeling of movement in my hands :) and most it uses vibrations when you shoot or hand shock. but in this case the bend is very minimal
Apart from this being a splendid review as we're used to, I personally actually prefer that Simsek does not write their company name and other details on the bow, as I plan on using it for reenactment purposes and covering these things is always a hassle. Nonetheless, thank you for what you do!
Hey Armin! Great video! Could you help me with ordering a ming chinese ring from custom thumb rings, I have some problems with the ordering proces, and I haven’t been able to contact them.
I think, for me at least, I'd go with the Hybrid S+. It is bit cheaper than the Sipahi, still pretty short so it would be fine for horseback archery, and you say there is less hand shock than the Sipahi S+. Just what would work best for me.
Hallo !!! bei Reflexbogen erst Bogenspannen dann zielen ,,, aber bei anderen Bogen wie Englischen Langbogen zuerst zielen dann Bogenschnell ziehen, dann loslassen ???
Lol wish their was a better way to aim 😜 with traditional... It's like I'm aiming with my imagination Olympic is definitely more complicated in that u have to take the time to tune the bow and use the correct arrows and setup the sights Seems like all that stuff thrown out the window when shooting traditional, only thing that matters is good times

This bow is perfect for shooting quickly on the move. Awesome review sir

Excellent bow. Can't wait for the next video.
Great review Armin! I am in the process of ordering a Simsek bow and report on how things go!

true that, I understand :D

you will manage
No I’m serious I contacted them on 6 different email accounts, I tried everything
@@paulvoragen8288 Have you tried facebook or their website? I usually had no problems with them.
I have never had issues contacting them. Just be patient. They'll get back to you.
Is this te cheapest alternative to a biocomposite bow?
I think so, if you want to have the feel of a composite bow

Is this laminated with wood or all fiberglass?
All fiberglass
It is a nice looking little bow thank you sir.
The price is a lot less without the painting and the leather. Just in case someone might want the same functionality at a lower price...

Engländer.... kompliziert
How did people go to war with composite bows if they were so unreliable? Maybe they made bows better than we do today.
they had to take care of them... wrapping in waxed clothes on ships and so on. Ottoman as they say only went to war from April to September :D
@@ArminHirmer Convenient that their enemies allowed them to 😁

All these nice bows only for small people.
If you said pretty bow, I say too 🏹
Tiny bow,but nice
Too small for my taste but obvious craftsmanship!
