sennheiser hd 599's, had them for 6 months at this point hooked up to a behringer umc202hd and they're the best sounding headphones i've ever heard for a pretty reasonable price.
Welcome back! Where’ve you been hiding? 😁 The headphones I’ve been using for several years now are Philips SHP2500. I have found them to be very comfortable and light. They also perform very well, a good all round recreation of whatever I’m listening to. Two of the main reasons I chose them were cost, and the length of the lead. It’s 6m long. I have the lead going around the room from my amplifier to my chair, perfect for late night listening without disturbing any neighbors.
Jarrett, it HAS been forever! We've missed you terribly! It's so lovely to have a video from you my friend, and especially such a good and fun one, those phones are excellent and that really comes through in this vid, keep on keeping on Jarrett, suggested future song of the day: Ma Baker by Boney M.
Dude, just a couple of days ago I was wondering where you’ve been. Awesome to see you back. I hope eveything was ok and that nothing happened that had you absent for a while.
I tried the meze 109’s at a friend’s place once. It felt like a more exciting Edition Xs to me personally. Def endgame for most people. Song of the day: The Art of Dying by Gojira
they look awesome...song of the day= GRANADA-Connie Francis 1960. and listening with those headphones WOW. It's one of her powerful tracks. recorded in July in ABBEY ROAD, LONDON.
Hey Jarrett love her videos can you make a short comparison of the fluence RT 82 and the RT 85 I have the RT 82 model and I was wondering besides the platter and the cartridge what are some other subtle differences between those two turntables
I had a dream that my gaming headset was better than this one. I haven’t even tried it in real life yet, but the quality just wasn’t that of my HyperX headset
The biggest problem I've always encountered with headphones, cheap or expensive, is connection shorting out. I take care of my headphones, when I use them while working out, I run the wire down the front of my shirt so the wire never gets pulled, or flops all around. Usually headphones last me about 2 monthes tops... Next thing I know, the connection will start to short out because where it plugs into the jack... The wire is always made cheap and can't seem to handle basic use. Anyone elserun into this constant issue with headphones or earbuds regardless of price ?
As cool as this headphones look I can’t convince myself to pay $800 plus shipping on a pair of headphones. No matter how much improvement it has on the sound quality it just not worth it in my opinion
They are nice headphones, and also, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I wanted you to do a video on best musical film soundtracks on vinyl and include the albums i suggested! But no!
Hi Mate. Welcome back I have no doubt that these headphones sounds great. The way they are constructed holds a lot of promise. One thing though you forget to mention is that open headphones aren't for everyone. Open headphones are awesome for acoustic and softer kinds of music. They are great for music with lot's of texture etc, but they do lack some of the dynamics closed constructions deliver (and I'm not talking about the exaggerated bass you get from crappy models). Just like speakers, what kind of music people listen to very much determine what's right for them (and of course personal preference too). If people listen to more "punchy" music, a closed construction will probably be a better choice. I mean, you wouldn't seriously listen to metal, tech, dnb etc. on magnepans or open baffel, right? The optimal solution is in fact to have a pair of each kind to cover all bases, but if you have to stick to one pair, the best all round capabilities is achieved with a good closed construction. Besides that, if you use headphones not to disturb, an open model isn't exactly the best choice. For instance if I wear my Beyer's in bed my wife will kick my ass. So I guess you can say there's a safety issue to consider as well. But having mentioned that I have to say that nothing beats an open construction when it comes to enjoying classical music or/and live jazz recordings. I have a tip for you, and to all who reads this as well. There's a dude in England called Phil Aston who runs the Now Spinning Magazine UA-cam channel. Do check it out. There's loads of album reviews, and interviews with artists, sale statistics..... You name it. It's a multi format channel, so no one's forgotten. I bet you'll love it. Stay cool and awesome Mate. All the best from Denmark.
Had a chance to try the Meze Elite (new dark finish) and TOTL STAX headphones at the Montreal Hifi Show a couple months back. I was flabbergasted by both the sound and the pricetags. So I'll just keep listening to my vintage pair of Grado PS1000.
Hi mate. Very nice review of a stunning looking pair of head phones. My favourite headphones which i bought in the 70's were a pair of Stax SRX Electrostatic headphones. They were truly amazing with a 3 dimensional soundstage which appeared outside of the head.
FAVORITE HEADPHONES? 🎧🤔🎧
I daily drive AKG361, and they are pretty good for the price not many complaints

I don't really wear headphones but when i do, it's because my earphones are broken 😅
I am sure this item must be quite costly or pricey🎉
$800 USD, so yes. but I'm shure it's probably worth it for us music lovers
