What speaker/speakers do you have in your setup? Post 'em 👇😊👇
I've got the Edifier R980T!
@@the_padzer3456 hey same!
It’s cone not a pyramid
JBL 4412a
I inherited a pair of EPI speakers circa 1977 from my folks that still sound better than almost everything around. Peace.
That's... not a pyramid, but a cone.
I'm glad you noticed and commented
Yeah……thought the same
Right!
lmao this guy doesn't even know shapes, he might need to go back to kindergarten
I thought it was the tip of a pencil
That's not shaped like a pyramid. It is shaped like a cone.
It looks more like a pencil point
Been following vinyl eyezz for awhile, you helped me setup and start my vinyl habit, thanks! 😃 couldn't afford this tech though haha.
It looks very nice, more for decoration than for great sound. I can say for sure that it won't reproduce sound down to 20 Hz with a 5.25-inch bass driver. Great review! If only they had the stereo interconnect capability I might have considered buying two of these expensive luxury traffic cones lol 😆
Oh wow, that is a crazy looking speaker. Glad you tested it out brother. Forrest green is one of my favorite shades of green. Green is my favorite color.
Is unique and the sound reflects everywhere because the 360 look to it, I would buy one if is not too expensive lol
Its a cone.. not a pyramid
With that color it's a christmas tree :)
Very interesting speaker, never seen anything quite like it. Just wanted to thank you for continually uploading great videos and providing us helpful and cool informative videos. You got me back into vinyl collecting and I am glad I found your channel when I did. Hope all is well and that you take care!
Bluetooth and hifi in the same sentence is an oxymoron, but I'm sure it's quite a good bluetooth speaker if you forget about the hifi/high end sales nonsense, and enjoy it for what it is.
Yum roit, its fewa the posh flats in Lundun
Absolutely agree on your take… high end and Bluetooth in the same sentence is ridiculous
It’s not 2004… Bluetooth has come a long way
@@molusk4031 It sure has, and if it continues even further, it might end up being good enough for critical listening.
@@molusk4031 it has but the review made no mention of the Bluetooth protocols supported either, no mention of AptxHD support for example. And so I wouldn't be surprised if it actually was a cheap Bluetooth receiver rocking it's standard terrible quality sound.
Absolutely loving the videos man! These are the reason I'm into turntables and audio!
It’s a traffic cone
"They were cones!!!!"
-dude from wedding singer
That green reminds of of the old british sports cars in british racing green :)
Looks great. The Beosound 2 is also cone shaped, can be stereo paired and has WiFi connectivity.
But this come speaker is very expensive….never mind two!
I have a Marshall Woburn, it rocks!
wow great video
Could you do an Explanation video in the future, about the differences between a mono cartridge with a mono setup vs a stereo cartridge with stereo speakers.
Loox like a cone of Dunshire.
hello from England, nice video again, very clearly explained, and intelligent, I echo the comments "it's not a pyramid its a funky traffic cone" Technically in aux mode you could use two as a stereo pair with a bit of faffing about, it is not hifi in my opinion but a better style product than your usual party bluetoot, B&O do a pair of cones speakers and they probably sound pants and cost a lot more, i would only ever connect hifi speakers to hifi like my mission /Wharfedale /elacs i have 5 blueteeth speakers all under £30 , why five? Different uses, i would have a mono setup if i could afford cartridge pre and power amp and corner speaker like Tannoy, a very good bluetoot speaker might make mono recordings really shine though
You can pair two Tre Sound1 speakers via TWS Stereo pairing.
Wow that’s a awesome design speakers 🔊 love them !!
Song of the Day: Earth Beat - Herbie Hancock
I'm sure Bang & Olufsen were there initially!😀
These speakers are more of a life-style statement rather than something you would seriously listen to, i.e. they are a a joke. Saying that, is there any reason why you could not use two as a stereo pair?
The two speakers would have to communicate and decide which one is going to be responsible for the left and which one for the right channel. If you have two cables to plug in you decide this on your own via the cables. But with one bluetooth signal carrying both channels and simultaneously received by both speakers you can't make that decision. There are bluetooth speakers available that can be paired and they then figure out which one plays which channel, but apparently this nice-looking but probably way over-priced christmas tree speaker can't do it.
@@bernhardkrickl3567 Hi Bernhard,
First, thanks for your quick reply which confirmed my thoughts, i.e. if these speakers were fed separately, one with a left stereo signal and the other with a right signal, then that would work which is fine if you've got money to waste. Next, it never dawned on me that these speakers could receive and interpret stereo signals via bluetooth and so my question was not about that, just cable usage.
@@boblaws7582 Be aware that I was speaking in general terms here, I don't know these specific speakers. I'ld guess if you take two cables, one for the left and one for the right channel it should always be able to get a stereo result. As long as the adapters are chosen correctly.
Nice pencil ✏️
As they say in sales: “Smoke in a box”.
Interesting video as always. I'd not spend money on that speaker though. Way back in 1970 I bought the Let It Be, the album by the Beatles. A school friend had told me that the stereo version of Get Back on the lp was way better than the mono version on the single. It is and I've been hooked on hi fi ever since. To hear Paul on the left and John on the right for the first time when I got my first very own system in the early '70's was amazing. I became a bit of a record snob and wouldn't buy singles in the 70's. Not so long ago a friend of mine died and I was gifted her 1960's singles collection to add to the few I already had. I have played them using a stereo cartridge (Nagaoka mp110) As another commentator has said, it would be lovely if you could do a video comparing mono cartridges for playing mono records with stereo cartridges. I know that Audio Technica do one and wondered if it would be worth treating myself to it.🙂
Hey could you check out the wockoder KD 2008, I wanna hear your though on it
I wonder what Your oldest record is
Cone shape green gold looking speaker
Sorry man, that's a cone, not a pyramid.
This is what my new pencil looks like 💀
Thank you for reviewing the speaker; I was following it since its start. Would you need a pre-amp for your turntable? And also: it says that it has a freq. response of 20-20000, so the bass should be more than amazing, but that's not what you told us. Isn't it then a jaw dropping sound, as I expected it to be, surely for its price? Thank you and thank you for your great videos.
Cool song of the day: Prince - the Ballad of Dorothy Parker.
Cool song - Juban District by Ginger Root
The letter I in the trettitre-logo is crooked. It caught my eye and now I can't unsee it. You can best see it 00:30
Hey Jarret I’ve been doing great business as far as going into Barnes And Noble and telling people who come there to buy record players to get Audio Technica Lp60xbt instead of Crosley or Victrola and telling them about you is really working they take my advice and buy the Audio Technica Lp60xbt instead I feel like I’m saving people the trouble of buying Crosleys and getting Audio Technica which will last longer
How does this compare to the JBL Flip?
I have two blue tooth speaker systems. Both are made by Vizio, I have one with 5.1 capability in my living room, the second is standard stereo and it lives in my bedroom.
song of the day.
one step closer - Linkin Park
Their website says that you can pair two.
Why do my records sound low pitched? I changed the belt and the needle, but nothing works!

Song of the Day: Love never feld so good by Michael jackson

Looks indeed cool but I would still see it as a bit pointless compared to a standard hifi, although it has one point, at the top...
I bet my dad would like that joke!
for the price it should have voice activation!
Song of the day: dream house by Deafheaven
is it me or the speaker just looks like a pencil’s end
Dunno, feels a little bit gimmicky and inconvenient. Great video tho
Bennie and the Jets / Elton John.
Pyramid sits on a square base. Cone sits on a circular base
That's not a pyramid shape, it's conical - a cone. Look at the great pyramid - flat sides, mot conical.
if you wanna listen stereo then buy two of this, connect left output cable to mono RCA to AUX, and do the same for right speaker. wait, are you still reading?
I think you mean cone shaped.
It's a shame you can't make them into a stereo pair
I read on the specs there is a TWS mode
Looks like war head....
Ben Wyatt must be unemployed again.
Doesn’t exactly scream subtle. I prefer something that fits with the home decor
IT'S A CONE, NOT A PYRAMID LOL

Great video, absurd speaker.
For $400 to $800 range and for the sound this is a SCAM!! Check out all the subwoofers and tower speakers you can buy for this price.
Sorry its mono
It's NOT a pyramid, a pyramid has a square base, this is a cone. And. like they say down under: Is it a cone, leave it alone. Please, bluetooth speaker....nope, thx.
neeeeeeeeerrd
(no offense im just jokin)
High end...Bluetooth...lost me
Same. For that price they really should be able to at the very least connect two together. You can get decent desktop speakers for the same price or less. Interesting design concept, but not worth it.
This seems like it’s more of a gimmick than an actual competitor to hifi systems
It’s a cone and a con lol
Bluetooth is lo-fidelity , not for me!
okay, first of , it’s a cone , not a piramide as a piramide has at least 3 sides .
second ; bluetooth is NOT high end and never will be , because of the type of compression used , even at 24bit !! , let alone from one speaker that provides virtual stereo.
high res ? maybe !
the term HIGH END is used inappropriately by manufacturers to sell CONE shaped speakers to stupid people that have no clue but just want to look cool to there friends
still not high end but phillips, LS and Eltax made PIRAMIDE speakers (yes ,all with 4!!! sides)
Bluetooth 4.2 and 5 can literally handle the best quality wireless audio 🫢codec in systems is what drives the audio quality down on Bluetooth - so unless manufacturers improve the codec of their devices, you’ll never be able to hear Bluetooths full potential. Bluetooth (depending on version) rarely has, if any, effect on audio quality. I do agree with you that manufactures will use “high end” as a way to push their product out the door to people who want that sort of quality, however, saying that Bluetooth is not high end and never will be is a falsely landed statement. Most, if not all other Bluetooth codecs have a latency between 80-140ms. You can use different codecs to make your Bluetooth sound better like aptX or LDAC. LDAC’s bitrate can go from 330, 660 and 990 at 24mbd with ~200ms and aptX Adaptive can do 279kbps - 420kbps 48kHz 24mbd with ~80ms latency
Also a three-sided pyramid shape is called a tetrahedron, a pyramid has 4 sides (5 if you include the base)
@@RadiusDurotar i disagree , 4.2 and 5.0 can handle the best quality but it will never be high end , there is not enough bandwith , audio files which are compressed to fit that bandwidth may be high quality/high res , but as soon as you start compressing audio files you alter them by removing some high and lows , as for latency.. that has “nothing” to do with sound quality, it is timing (syncing) between appliances or sound and video
As I expected, a high priced, pretty gimmick.
They claim a retail of $799 and then half off to $399 for a god awful ugly Bluetooth single speaker? Rofl. Many well established makers in the comparable price range Heck , you can get a Bose that also does 360 surround for half that price. No thanks overpriced and as I said truly ugly.
Way overpriced for what you get.
That was honestly a really dumb review.
Get a stand and test it. Didnt you have enough time for that?
Homepods and most other smarthome bluetooth speakers are not stereo setups and they solve that with interated miceophones. Does your speaker have those features and if not, how does it compare?
Did you mention the price? I might have missed that…
Are you goung to keep it? If so, where did you place it etc…?
Come on.
Got to say it too it's a cone
