Although I watched a few other ways or methods to replace the pump, your method turned out to be the easiest. The hardest part for me was reconnecting the electrical connector, which I may should have done earlier in the process. Thanks for taking the time to post your video.
Thanks for the video, just changed out my pump the same way and is working great. I also ended up taking out the entire rubber boot that is connected to the bottom of the washer drum and thoroughly cleaned it. It was disgusting and was definitely the source of a stinky smell every time my old pump ran.
