Loved your video! In October 2022 I visited Matera & Castelmezzano and they were both spectacular in their unique ways. I have to give the nod to Castelmezzano as I hiked all over that town different times of the day and it captured my heart. This October, I'm touring Puglia (Valle d'Itria & Salento regions) and can't wait! Thank you for bringing back such great memories and showing me what awaits! :)

Waw Castelmezzano looks really cool. I have been this year in Apulia and Matera, but this is first time I hear about Castelmezzano. That really is a hidden gem.

Thanks for this video. I was a few years ago in Matera, Monopoli and some other areas in puglia, but I didn´t visit the Palombaro Lungo. I will be there this year again and your video of Matera by night and the Palombaro Lungo are excellent. I will stay over night in Matera, I hope I get nearly the same impression. Great movies and you have very sympathic parents.

LOVE this series. This roadtrip is on our list now for maybe May/early June. We generally do not do zip lines, but this one looks better with a better view than typical ones over trees like in Costa Rica. Nice that you guys are traveling with your parents.

I love you guys! I had really enjoyed your Romania videos with my husband as he was born there, but THEN! you go to Castelmezzano! My father was born there and I visited my relatives there as a child many times … then moved and lived there for four years after university so I am so happy to see it showcased! Thank you for bringing me back to the place that I so deeply love. It was beautiful to watch and also recognize locals in the video! I also did the zip line in tandem with my mother … amazing!

OMG, Castelmezzano is definitely added to the list! I had the same issue with the GoPro (Hero 9) randomly shutting off, even though there was plenty of charge on the battery. It seems to be an issue with the old batteries (blue ones). I got the new enduro batteries (white) and haven't had that issue since.

This video was something else. You were in Italian towns that were purely idyllic. Loved the zip lining trips. It was such a rush! The stay in a cave was unbelievable too! Out of curiosity, did you use a drone to film any scenes of the the ancient towns in Italy, especially in the beginning of the video?
