  • As Twede's Cafe owner Kyle Twede will tell you, few things have changed in the area of North Bend, Washington, since Twin Peaks shot there two decades ago. At his diner, which was the Double R Diner in the show and the prequel film Fire Walk With Me, visitors can buy a map to the shooting locations, almost all of which are within a 10-minute drive of Twede's Café, and easily recognizable.

@Montera15 on show, there was a thing which had a speech pattern like that, even though it was take a bit elsewhere. they spoke backwards in real life, and reversed the tape to reach a weird quality to their speeches

@CalebMTurberville Yes, in the show the words were actually heard "forwards". It's likely they were spoken backwards, and then played backwards to achieve the eerie sound. I'm sure this could be verified by a quick internet search.

Only thing that comes to mind when hearing Twin Peaks is Don S. Davis. May he rest in peace.

I think you could have picked a better Twin Peaks location, especially since they're all so close together. How about the place that was the exterior and interior of the Blue Pine Lodge and also the interior for some of the Great Northern Hotel? Much more Twin Peaksy than the diner, in my opinion.
