Hey guys , did you know that David Lynch got most of his ideas for Twin Peaks from a movie called Waxwork ( 1988 ) ? You got everything in there, our coffee drinking weirdo hero, the girls looking for danger, the symbolism of fire and smoking, the dwarf , the giant ( as a waiter ) and the waiting room before entering fantasy worlds, the couch, the black and white pattern, the mistery in the middle of a street in a friendly neighbourhood, the football guys ( one is even the same actor, playing the exact same role ( Bobby ) ), the idea of One-Eyed Jack with Marquis de Sade etc , etc, shall i go on ? I mean sure he added a lots of extra layers, but he took the basics from there. And a lots of other horror movies, he took the idea of Jody's disappearance and the funny looking portal from Phantasm. I can share tons of other informations about Twin Peaks if you are interested. Im just too lazy to make a video.

I'd put Joan Chen right up there tied with her. Joan Chen has aged really gracefully too. Madchen Amick has aged well, Sherilynn Fenn and Lara Flynn Boyle not so well. Fenn hasn't aged _badly,_ she's just put on a little weight -- not a lot, but enough she's not slender and shapely anymore -- and now she just looks like an average, middle-aged woman. Lara Flynn Boyle, on the other hand, has become well known as example of the damage that bad plastic surgery can do.

I met Hawk at a Guitar Center. I had my notebook in my backpack and showed him a Twin Peaks themed drawing I did with some "Owl Cave" elements. He signed it for me and told me he drew the Owl Cave map drawing. Cool guy. Rest in peace, Norma and Log Lady.

For me it is definitely that location of twin peaks like those forests , intro, roads. And people , music and that classic 90s vibes...... its not like typical show of los angeles or new York... its kinda different... and also I like how the characters feel complete, plot , screenplay.... and that music when it comes in different form.

The first episode that Peggy was in made "my jaw drop". I even thought she gave up acting altogether. Perfectly cast as the owner/waitress of the diner! What a completely sad shock when she "passed". I know "it's part of life", but even her role on "Mod Squad" was a fine, subdued actress! RIP Peggy.

I feel lycky that i have it on DVD, season 1and2 and the movie fire walk with me. I have to get the return to,because i cant stream it anymore. When i realized that,i almost get a panic attack.

Но мы все без исключения стареем и рано или поздно не останется в живых ни актёров Твин Пикса, ни актёров других фильмов, и с этим ничего не поделаешь. К сожалению время направленно только вперёд. Одно я знаю точно, что творение Дэвида Лична сериал Твин Пикс, будет ещё много, очень много лет восхищать его поклонников, его новых зрителей которые появятся у него в будущем. Я уверен, что многих этот фильм не оставит равнодушным, а его загадки так и не будут разгаданы никогда.

i was wondering why Donna made no appearance in twin peaks: the return...now I see why. This saddens me deeply
Lara Flynn Boyle was a good actress, but I think Moira Kelly was at least as good in the role of Donna in FWWM. I would have liked to have seen Moira again in Series 3.
She looked pretty good as the DA in The Practice...never knew she went down the same lane as Melanie Griffith & Meg Ryan

She backed out of Fire Walk with Me, so I think Lynch wouldn’t have invited her back even if she wanted to do it.

My first impression watching Twin Peaks: how are all these beautiful people in one series? Contrasting it with another series, Dallas, where the beautiful people were mostly plain-Jane.

"Leland"/ Ray Wise scared the sh*t out of me back then... still does. "BOB" (Frank Silva) even moreso. who knew a quirk in filming the set dresser would inspire/ lead to his character role? perfect!
Actually, they kept themselves pretty well, I saw another set “Then-n-now” featuring the Santa Barbara actors and was horrified! Comparing them, these guys look awesome, of course they’ve gotten older but they did gracefully! Respect ✊!
