The amount of times Batman has stopped other people from killing "his" villains makes me think he literally only cares about the enjoyment he gets from fighting them over and over again.

Batman is convinced that everyone can change for the better, just like he did, and thats why he doesn't allow anyone to get killed. The tragedy is, that deep down he knows that some People never change, but he can't except that and has to push forward. Thats why hes not the Hero Gotham needs, but the one it deserves. A watchful Guardian. A silent Protector. A dark Knight
I think it’s made so we can watch the show otherwise it wouldn’t be a show. It’s the dialogue. We need dialogue for there to be a story. Also suspense.
If the soldier opened fire, there could have been a chance for friendly fire since some of his buddies were right behind Batman. That’s what’s typically taught in gun safety - to have clear line of fire before unloading your weapon. Batman was actually quite smart to land dead center in the formation. Ironically, that was the safest spot for him.
His feats are not that of a normal human. The guy appears to easily have the strength of 10 men not to mention his ridiculous agility and speed. The guy can basically dodge bullets. Humans are also built different in comics, they can tank hits from Batman and still live and Batman can do things that even the best of the best in real life would have difficulty doing. Not only that he does everything well to the point of being a master at it regardless of the skill. The guy might as well be super human.

A lot of people give Batman a hard time for ignore the stuff he has done. This also goes for other street tier fighters in DC and Marvel respectively.

Like imagine batman randomly jumping to some swat guy all the way in the back of the room 30 feet away, swinging at the air a bunch of times after he beats him then jumping another 30 feet to go beat up a guy outside his line of sight?

Well Batman specializes in groups, battling gangs for local charities, that kind of thing. You use different moves when you're fighting half a dozen people, than when you only have to be worried about one.
I only saw this movie last year and I had no idea that Kevin Conroy was in it! Hearing his first line almost brought me to tears, he will always be the definitive Batman in my in my opinion! Rest in Peace Kevin.

Fully surrounded by highly trained men, with assault rifles that fire bullets at around 3000fps at the muzzle, he still manages to cartwheel around the place and take them all down over the course of a minute, then, gets into a hand to hand fight with one of the SWAT guy's who definitely cannot move that fast (because he's not bAtMaN) and the SWAT guy is trading blows with him and even making Batman parry the knife attacks, despite the fact a few seconds before this, Batman was easily dodging automatic gunfire from multiple directions aimed right at him lol. Yep, that's Batman's terrible plot armour coupled with even worse writing. 😂😅🤌🏻
