We made it to France on the ferry! Now where do we go? Across half the county to Poitiers! A very long drive :) (for the First day in France)

Id say the crew did not put a cushion on the seat before ratchet strapping down. Next time watch them do it ,if they dont put a cushion on or none available,use a towel or spare top or a fleece ece jacket doubled up.......just for info....

Ah good point! I'd say that's what happened. Luckily it was fine in the end but would certainly look out like u mentioned.
