Why would you want a package with Justin Fields, when substituting with him would just telegraph that you are planning to run the ball. Yeah, you could fake them out and have him pass, but I would rather see Russ throwing in those situations. Having a special substitution package play is basically like admitting you don't have confidence in the offensive play you called, instead of saying we are going push it downfield and you can't stop us.
There is an official DEPTH CHART on the Steelers Homepage naming Russel Willson QB No1 since day one of the season and Fields as the backup. The ladys seem not to get it that Russ doesn't need to be named as QB1 he is it all along, and Justin was never QB1, he is just the backup. And btw, Justin just would have been sacked or fumbled the ball on these plays when Russ tossed away the ball. So u better adjust your narrative to reality to not look like stupid.
Hi there! Justin Fields has actually been listed as QB1 up until last week. Kyle Allen was then promoted to QB2. And Russ was demoted to QB3 & the emergency QB. I am with the team every day so I think I would know😉 nice try with the stupid comment tho!

Of course the order was temporarily changed in gametime decision with injured QB1 Russ. Tomlin not once named Fields the QB1, he named him the starting QB instead for a reason.
