@@mumbo_fuze2484yeah but meta humans do that too. Also how does the generalized public differentiate people like spiderman from people in the X-Men? It's comic logic and it IS stupid.
FYI, Punisher respects Cap. Punisher even stops Cap from killing some one. Since he knew it was a line that Cap can not cross without destroying him. Forget why Cap wanted the person dead. But the Punisher didn't want Cap to turn out like himself. Cap is his Hero. This was back in the 90's. Stopped buying comic after the first x-men movie.
Punisher won't fight Cap, because Captain America is the boyscout that Frank *wishes* he could be; Frank detests what he feels that he *has* to be instead -- a murderer for justice.
Captain America hasn't done anything to deserve being struck by The punisher! There's no way in hell frank would lay a hand on the man! Id g even further that the punisher knew he was going to get his ass kicked the moment he killed those two men
Well yeah he knew he'd get his ass beat, but he didn't fight cap because of the immense respect for him he has. Cap is who Frank wished he could be but can't, because he knows how broken he actually is. He has stopped cap from killing someone because he knew it wasn't a line Cap could ever cross without breaking himself, and didn't want Cap to turn out like him.
Probably my favorite part about Punisher is even tho he kills people there is a line somewhere. I love that he respects Cap so much that he cant bring himself to even block his attacks.
They both hate corruption and fights it. Yet there is a line Cap doesn't want to cross at times. Punisher doesn't accept any major any many minor crimes. He lost his family due to the major criminal parts that started ad minor types of crime. Sure the punisher might mess up petty thieves not kill them. However if they are part of something bigger it's the end. Punisher does his homework before he checks one off the list.
I think part of the nuance here, too, isn't the juxtaposition of Cap's WWII to Frank's Vietnam War...No, Castle's war is on *crime,* as a whole. That's why it's so much more difficult for Cap to see their similarities. Cap killed soldiers in his war. To the Punisher, criminals _are_ soldiers.
In the punishers defense his family was killed by the mafia. Wouldn't you want Justice for your family if they were killed by the mafia. Punishing the punisher for getting revenge for his family is dumb. Let him go At Least He Goes After The Worst Of The Worst. You're welcome boys and girls any questions.
Yeah I got a question. Why wasn't the Punisher detained by the government/Shield for killing Stilt-Man who was a government sanctioned Hero during Civil War?
@@jevonjackson4236Uhh. No. Stilt-Man was like, a wacky Daredevil villain who basically was trying to get revenge on his boss for stealing his invention. The Punisher is also here to take down the target, and is like ‘duuuuuhhh Stilt-Man was a villain in the past’ and blows both of them up. This isn't an accurate recap. Those two villains were sent after Spider-man, who quit working with Stark. They were going to kill Spider-Man instead of capturing him. Punisher offed them to save Spider-man and then took Spidey to Cap's resistance.
The reason Frank didn't raise a fist was out of respect and admiration. Cap is his hero, an embodiment of idealism a national symbol etc. In Frank's view, attacking Cap - even in self defense would be akin to violating his code. Especially since Frank knows what he does is morally dubious and of course, illegal. He cannot in his right mind fault Steve for giving him shit.
