Toxin Free Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring

There are a handful of ways that I think you can make a HUGE impact on the health of your space when you’re ready for a bigger project at home. Of course there are things we can do every day that make an impact on the environment inside our home, but every now and then we have the opportunity to make a BIG change that can drastically improve our space.
When you’re choosing these projects, I always feel that it’s important to know which ones will have the most impact in comparison with the cost of the project. And hands down, the one I see repeated time and time again is replacing carpet with a low toxin flooring.
Because flooring has a HUGE surface area around your home, and the toxins in carpet are BIG contributors to poor indoor air quality, this project gets a green light as one of the most impactful projects to improve your healthy home.
There are SO many flooring options, but the one that can be the most challenging to understand, is luxury vinyl plank flooring. While it does have SOME toxins in it, it can be an excellent option for homes that are humid, homes that have moisture intrusion on a more regular basis or wet areas of your home.
I’m all about functionality AND health, and sometimes that means choosing lower toxin versus a completely toxin free product. And so I like to have these options for luxury vinyl plank flooring ready for my remodel clients to choose from
