- Hello! Hope you're having a warm cozy day! In this vlog, I spent the day at home crocheting lots of cute puff flowers and turning them into a seat cushion. I also started a slow stitching embroidery project too. The crochet flowers for your stool are beautiful. I would love to make one for my piano stool. Love the colours
In your previous video, I felt inspired to crochet some coaster and learnt how to make popcorn stitch. I normally do amigurumi using patterns from Japanese craft books. Recently, I decided to change to crochet floral lace and doilie to learn more variety of stitches. You chosen nice muted colours for the yarn. I did slow stitching on journal cover this took me over a week. Crochet is addictive, very hard to know when to stop.

Stool flowers are so cute! I want to make a pillow now. I think it would look better with the brown cushion under, then you can attach the crochet flowers to the cushion more securely. Beautiful work!❤

Thank you for your crafting company. I think the fabric under the crochet puff flowers with an elastic cushion would work very well, that way it's removable and it's easier to attach the crochet flowers to the fabric.

I saw in the video your plushies of Totoro😍, they are lovely, I'm a big fan of Ghibli Studio. I also was looking for tutorials to learn how to do that kind of flowers for keychains... I'm really enjoying your videos...
I think one can connect all the individual flowers by crocheting them together with slip stitches (may also need a chain stitch here & there to keep things flat); then there won't be as many tails to weave in at the end of creating the cushion shape.
I am thinking of making a bunch of the flowers, maybe also some leaves, and then assembling them to make a sweater jacket.
Your color selection is really lovely. Your idea would also make a lovely throw pilllow, either flowers for both sides, or flowers on one side with single crochet or a stockinette stitch back. So many stitches/designs and color combinations are possible.

I love your videos so much.. you have inspired me to create a flower cushion as well... i think you should finish the cushion, but at the same time, if you don't finish, you can use the flowers for something else if you decide to change.. thank you for this video and the inspiration

You have made such a gorgeous stool cushion. I think that you should make a brown cover and attach the beautiful crocheted flowers to it. With the brown cover you can add some elastic to gather under the seat and hold the cushion in place. Also, what substance are you using in your teapot for the citrus tea? It looked like a marmalade jam to which you added water. The two skeins you showed near the end of the video are very pretty, they will make a nice project. The silk ribbons you dyed are also so pretty. Laurie

Thank you for watching! The tea is a type of Korean citrus tea I got from an Asian supermarket. Its like jam texture and comes in a jar. You just scoop a few spoons into a tea pot, add hot water and stir. Its already sweetened so no need to add anything. This particular tea is quince. I like to drink it especially in the winter time when the air is a little dry. 😊
