When you mentioned cleaning blow through with laquer thinner if you have clear coat underneath, can you do that on intercoat clear or just 2k?
Just 2K clear. Intercoat has no hardener so the lacquer thinner will damage it. you can always take some 1500 or 1000 wet and sand the blowthrough if you have enough intercoat covering the base.

Awesome. At least how you can see how they were done. I had to close down Attitude due to Jody's health (she passed away labor day :( We just had the celebration of life yesterday.

This is the most beautiful flame job and colors I’ve ever seen. Even without the second flames added on top, they looked beautiful with just black and blue. But the final product is the most sick flame job and color scheme I’ve ever seen in my life.

Have you had issues with the paint bubbling up around the gas spouts? Anyway to prevent that?
Not really but it's pretty common on the pre 95 Harley's and aftermarket tanks. I normally tape up about 1/8" away from the hole, prime and paint up to the tape. Then I use a mix of clear and base to cover that edge once I'm completely done and pull the tape off. I used to use POR15 to do the sealing, but this got costly.

That's just a mix of a silver and a white pearl.

@@jamesobert8972 You can pretty much chose what ever silver and white pearl you want. For the overlaying flame job, you want that to be more subtle so you can use any silver (pretty much any automotive silver laying around), and any white pearl. White pearl is transparent and a regular automotive silver is also more transparent than the D769 toner silver. D769 is a very fine. silver so it covers quickly.
So the flame job under the candy to be a bright silver, and cover quickly, and the top flame job to be fairly transparent. Hope all this makes sense to you
