Etching A Logo On A Blade

Here is a short video showing how I etch the logo on my straight razors. I am using an electric etcher with a stencil to make the design.

is this film in exposed detail is plastic or silkscreen grit 300 or paper?
co'z to get the reaction thru etch must be have contact and only cotton is barrier.

It is a custom made stencil I orded from Blue Lighning Stencil. I am not sure what the stencil itself is made of.
