All he's got is the same ancient tactics these homeowners has been hearing since they were kids answering their parents doors... got some serious training he needs to do on communication.
Here's the SECRET to sales boys and girls: The more you get them talking and asking, the closer you get to a buy-in. The more you're doing the talking, you're closing the door on yourself faster. Period end of story. Be smart, not just persistent.

How long does it take to learn sales? From not knowing anything to being a professional.
Thats the same as asking how long does it take to learn to play the piano from scratch like a pro. You can probably learn the basics in a few months to start getting some results but to be in the big leagues probably a few years with discipline and constant training with something like Cardone training.

IF ANYONE here does door to door solar appointment setting or sales door setting please let me know. I just got hired with no experience and I need advice from people who dominate this industry.
Door to door sale is really the same for any company that you're working for. It's a matter of getting past that objection "I'm not interested" to presenting your product then writing that customer up "the close". So let me ask you. What do you need advice on?
