Everything looks cheap and overpriced now and days. Look at Apple products lol and I took my 6yo niece to the store me a couple days ago and she wanted some small tiny emoji stickers and I was ok and wow I should of checked the price. I ended spending 35 dollars for 13 very tiny emoji stickers. What a rip off.
I love my apex slim sleeve so much! Been carrying it around for around a year (maybe more) and it still looks brand new. The design looks very cool yet classy in person and it is the perfect size for me. I don’t anticipate needing a new one anytime soon but this is now the only wallet I would consider buying in the future.
@@DanielRaniel I actually am still using it and love it as much as day #1! It looks great and I still get positive comments about it frequently. On the interior there is a clearly outlined indentation where the two front cards sit that has formed over time (doesn’t look bad, but makes it clear that it has been used). I generally try to not over stuff it to prevent stretching although on occasion I have and it seems to be fine! Most days I carry my ID and my primary use credit card in the front two pockets, a few banknotes folded in the pocket behind the left side, and 3 additional cards on the right (health insurance card, debit card, and backup credit card). You can generally fit 4 cards in the pull tab area if needed and even 1 or two additional behind the left side (where I keep a little cash). That said, the whole purpose of this wallet is to have a simple minimalist experience so again it is probably best to only take the cards you need! Do note that on the outside, within about a month of owning it, you’ll see the outline of the pull tab mechanism worn into the leather. I definitely don’t mind this at all but didn’t know to expect it either! It is the best slim wallet I’ve ever used! Highly recommend!
@@trendingaesthetic7728 I have the original tan version. They don’t seem to have that color on their website (at least here in the US) anymore… It still looks great even after a couple years of use! I don’t anticipate getting a new wallet any time soon. 😄
@@WillGallagher1 appreciate it I’ve been lost on either getting this or the apex note but I’m stumped and still can’t decide and no one has a review of both comparisons
I’ve used the Bellroy slim sleeve wallet since 2013 and have been really happy with it. Mine is the non-magnetic one. I think it’s the best wallet I’ve owned however I keep my bills in my front pocket, or inside my wallet. I’m not sure I see the attraction of this magnetic version (attraction. Haha. See what I did there. 😁😁😁). It seems kind of gimmicky to me and if it won’t close tightly with only a few cards then it’s kind of pointless. I’d recommend buying the regular or premium slim sleeve version instead.
Totally agree. I have the standard Slim Sleeve. I carry one card in each front slot, 3 in the inside slot, and a single $50 note in the note slot for emergencies... I've had the same $50 note for over a year because nobody uses cash anymore. After a few weeks of use it closes perfectly because it naturally molds to its contents. No need for magnets, they just make it hard to open.
I got the passport version and it didn’t fully close at first so I asked bellroy about it and they said give it some time and it will form to the correct shape. Sure enough, it closes perfectly now
@@PackHacker2 so to update… I ended up getting this and I’m very happy. I decided I’d trade in the dad wallet I’ve had for 20+ years and go minimalist. Now, instead of keeping my wallet in my back pocket that when sitting malforms my spine, I keep this very light wallet in my shirt front pocket or the front pocket of my pants. It’s barely noticeable. Time will tell if it lasts the distance. I hope it stays in good condition for 5-10 years at least.
In my opinion, stitching really brings a leather good together. To me this looks a little cheap or unfinished. It is a pass for me especially for that price
For anyone in developed countries, it's not necessary to carry cash anymore. Nobody tips because of laws for a fair minimum wage. What other reason is there to carry cash?
I sincerely wanted to buy this wallet, but only 3 or 4 cards (metro pass, two credit cards, food card, id card, driver license and health insurance card) and not being able to put some euros, is a great reason not to go for it.
I saw it in person last week. Found some sharp edges, also looks really cheap with crazy price tag

Are you still using the same wallet? I'm curious how its holding up after 2 years if you are.

lol I guess it's appropriate but describing the dimensions of cash by aspect ratio is the funniest thing I've heard all day.
Dude I love your thoroughness. What a great channel!
We appreciate that! Thanks!
Oof, the wallet not closing with only 6 cards (which Bellroy says it holds) is a huge deal breaker. Bummer.

Would love to see your thoughts on the Apex Note Sleeve
Thank you for your review. Beautiful looking. Smart. But I can tell quickly that it isn’t going to suit my purposes due to the capacity.
You're welcome!

How did this hold up 2 yrs later?
Thank you for chacking Japanese YEN!!!

That’s a great point!
It does look much better in person though, I like the styling of it but heat bonding I think long term isn't ideal to be perfectly frank.
That's what I thought immediately. It looks extremely cheap and already looks worn out.
Shame about the stupid prices for these wallets
For anyone in developed countries, it's not necessary to carry cash anymore. Nobody tips because of laws for a fair minimum wage. What other reason is there to carry cash?
In developing countries need cash for bribes
Buying drugs
Still need cash for semi-developed countries that still tip like the US.
Any other wallets similar to this? That can maybe more cards?
Apex note

So if you have a normal amount of cards, the feature of the wallet doesn't work. lol...
Man I really like this wallet but hate how you have to fold money to keep it in the wallet
heading bonding looking good.... lmaoo
@kk: Yeah looks great! Ima buy it.
great video, thanks
You are welcome!
Japanese YEN and PASMO card cool !its good
Still waiting Apex Note Sleeve 😴
Compared to the hide and seek this wallet looks like it's made terrible.. For the price Def hard pass
That leather looks paper thin from the inside . Seems over priced for what you get .

No , its not worth purchasing, if u have more than 6 cards the wallet doesn’t close which is no use to keep the wallet itself , waste of 600 dhs
No stitches for them snitches😅
130$ is just insanely stupid price, so its a pass.
Overly expensive wallet that looks like 10yrs old after only 2weeks, and cannot hold squat just useless.
Just get a classy premium wallet. This will look old and gimmicky very quickly. It already looks worn
Am I the only one who thinks it looks abaolutely awful?
